There are definitely some common sense, you’ll figure out what works for you, kind of tips in this piece, but there are several great tips. I think most will be able to benefit from a at least few of these, especially when you’re a new parent for the first time.

Excellent tips

It had good tips and it was well written, however the author refers to your baby as "she" and "her". If you have a girl then it will just seem natural. But I had a boy and it was very distracting. I wouldn't recommend that they him or he, but rather change it to "it" or "the baby" to keep it more universal, no mater what gender the child is.

Good, but.....

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

My wife just had our first child a few weeks ago and it is not exaggerating to say that I was absolutely terrified and unsure how will I be able to handle it. I'd been reading my wife's pregnancy books, and they were quite useless for me, so I decide to get myself a better read. Becoming a (good) father is a journey and I feel more prepared after listening to this audiobook, because it covered so many different topics about this subject. I highly recommend it!

The best audiobook I\ve seen for new dads

Great tips, but I would have appreciated more details and elaboration in some sections of the book. Overall: very helpful.

Would you try another book from Clayton Geoffreys and/or John Eastman?

No.. Certainly not

What was most disappointing about Clayton Geoffreys’s story?

poor writing and dangerous information about childcare

What didn’t you like about John Eastman’s performance?

Sounded like a bad safety guide for a B-side amusement part ride

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Becoming a Father?

Scrap it all

Any additional comments?

How did this even pass your minimum requirements to be on audible?..

Good for a laugh- dangerous information about care

list heavy. anecdotal. poorly researched. far too short to be of any real use. more pamphlet than book.

lackluster.

Well if you are a 16 year old boy and you just found out your girlfriend is pregnant, go ahead and listen to this book. Otherwise you already know 95% of the tips and you can move on to another book.

Pick another book, unless you are 16
