Could listen to this over and over

Wow. A great book that not only hits all the important themes but does it so very well. Highly recommended this to immature and mature followers. The maturation was also ecxeptional.

Wonderful!

Wonderful story - the best one of all!
Minor editing note: the chapter numbers don't line up correctly in the audio book. If you want to read one chapter a day until Christmas morning, it means the dates also don't line up. Audiobook chapter 4 is actually book's chapter 1.

Can't say enough

If you would like to hear a heart-level narrative of Christmas, the true tall tale of the coming of Christ, the Lamb of God, then please look no further. This is an immediate family tradition, and stirs our affection for the Lord. Thank you, Andrew Peterson and Russ Ramsey.

A favorite!

Books that are read by the author are worth their weight in gold to me. Russ Ramsey does a marvelous job weaving the true tall tale of the Old Testament with the advent of a coming Savior. This is a fantastic read for Advent or any 25 days of the year, really. Don't skip the forward my Andrew Peterson!
