About this listen

In this sequel to Dream of Me, Josie Litton pursues the romantic and political affiliations between the Saxons and Norse at the end of the ninth century. When the Saxon lord Hawk agrees to take a Norse bride, he finds an unexpected affection for his enigmatic and fiery fiancee, Lady Krysta. But Lady Krysta arrives bearing many secrets, including her gift for seeing what others cannot. When Hawk's sinister half-sister collaborates with a bevy of other schemers to try to drive a wedge between the couple, only Krysta can sense the looming danger that threatens both Hawk and the peace affected by their union. Believe in Me is studded with a cast of colorful characters and framed by a richly-drawn historical context.©2001 Josie Litton (P)2003 Books on Tape, Inc. As Enchanting As The First Book In The Series!!!!

Great plot and character development with a little mystery running through it and just the right amount of spice... excellent read that takes you to another time and place.

Loved the Whole Series

Never had read/listened to Josie Litton book. But the discriptions interested me so I purchased the first one. After the first hour into it I quickly bought the next 2. I enjoyed the mystery, the romance, the sex, and the humor. Recommend this to all historical romance listeners.

I loved the book in print and enjoyed it just as much by ear.

A Magical Escape

A friend of mine introduced me to the works of Josie Litton. All 3 of the books in this series are excellent. I have listened to each of them at least 3 or 4 times. I wish she would write some more books like these. I would buy them in a heartbeat. Come on Josie, what's coming in the future? We love you. At least i do. These stories are wonderful. You can just see the whole thing in your mind's pictures. Great writing.

Enjoyed the characters.

This one starts so differently. The only thing I did not enjoy was the russle of paper in the back round when the narrator paused. After the first couple of hours I got used to it. I really enjoyed it.

Boring

This story goes on too long and isn't that interesting.

Dragged on way too.long

The first book in this series was wonderful, however this second book was just too fanciful and drawn out. The story became just plain boring and tiresome.
