This book is by far my favorite from Woodiwiss. I have read it many times. When I saw it would be offered on Audible, I pre ordered it. I do not regret my decision. It is a job well done.

I read this book when it first came out in the 70s. I loved it then and I loved it even more now. I was a bit nervous about the Audible against the book, but it was exceptional. Kathleen writes in a way that touches your heart. This is what I will listen to again and again over the years. I hope you will enjoy it as I do these mini years.

I read it in my early 20s, I loved it then..I couldn't wait for it to come on here... I was kinda Mad, how they had to talk about how long ago she had wrote it, how people can be upset, over abuse of women, and how young they could be..But it Was FACT women had NO rights, we were below a Cow,,Husband's could beat their wives, etc..Instead of being upset, learn your history, in the 60 and 70s husband could hve their wives put in a crazy house for almost any reason, at least our woman here had a back bone...

I read this in high school. It was so great to listen to it! I loved it then and I love it now! I pre-ordered all of the Woodiwiss books when I learned they were being released as audiobooks! Now, on to the next, but deciding which one will be so hard!!

I love the iron strong, but honorable and just Wildcat. Who tries as hard as he can to deny that a decent, honorable, trustworthy and beautiful woman exists. He is happily proven wrong in the end. Wonderful characters and intricate plot twists along the way to keep you hooked until the very end. Just the best romance, ever.

KEW’s best and most brilliant novel. Beautifully read by Rosalyn Landor. I have read this one several times over the years, hearing it has raised it to a higher level, simply amazing! 💕💕💕

Awesome story….waited a long time for the audiobook! Well worth the wait! This book was the second one of Katherine E Woodiwiss that I read and such a wonderful story! The narrators did a truly marvelous job! Thank you! Will be listening to more of her books!
