Justin and Toni were friends.

Besties, with a whole list of life rules developed over a friendship that started when they were kids. As long as they stuck to the rules, even when they blended a business relationship into the friendship, things went off without a hitch.

I’ll be honest: this was the most difficult CCJ book for me to get into. I LOVE her stories usually, and this one wasn’t horrible...however, these characters were getting on me damn nerves! Toni was being so annoying, and the set up for them finally getting together took way more time than I had the patience for. Add to that not really feeling the narration AT ALL (Adenrele is perfect for Alex House’s books, but way too dramatic for these series!), and I’ll say this ended up being the worst out of the series for me, maybe even the worst of hers I’ve read, which still isn’t horrible (again) since at some point I’ll probably re-read it. Just saying.

This Series is one of my most enjoyable Reads. Can’t wait to get another installment soon. Great Read and The Narrators are Great.

Like why Justin play in her face like that???? He was on straight BS for too long and I would’ve been walked away and not looked back. The drama dragged on for too long and became very frustrating! I enjoyed the book; glad I listened to it and I guess the author had to do what she did with this story to fill the pages, but it was still just so frustrating and nerve wrecking!

My favorite author she loves playing with my emotions. I love this book. It was amazing everything she writes is a really really good. The narrators were exceptionally well and are some my favorites.

Out of the 3 books in this series, this was my least favorite. However, I am a huge fan of Christina Jones and would recommend any of her books in a heartbeat. This was predictable and not as humorous as the others, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I love a good BFF story! The dynamics of this relationship was powerful and says something about friendship. I also appreciate the reminders of the previous books!

Least favorite of the series but still enjoyed it. Extremely frustrating at times and took way too long to become a couple. Wish we had more of them as an actual couple.

This book was so good. Tonight got on my nerves for most of it but she came through in the end. Not as spicy as some of the other books by thus author but I enjoyed every second of it!
