About this listen

Jaclyn Love is a magnet for trouble - it seems to follow her wherever she goes.

Unfortunately for Kadan Davenport, she also seems to be a magnet for him - even after a disastrous first impression that leaves him - literally - black and blue.

Jaclyn is busy trying to find some sort of balance, and Kadan is just trying not to get swept up in the chaos.

In a small city like Blakewood, it's hard to avoid each other...especially when each additional encounter makes them wonder if they really want to.

I Think I Might Love You is a first-in-series novella.

Love it.

I fell in love with the Love sisters after reading the books. I was excited to here the first book was on Audible. I love the back and forth between Jaclyn and Kadan they were funny, honest, and not afraid to be themselves. I wasn't in love with the narrator for Jaclyn I expected more excitement and personality because her character is feisty. But overall I enjoyed this. Can't wait for the next books in the series.

Narrators almost killed it...

I loved this series when I read it on kindle. But these narrators almost made me hate it. It was awkward and had weird inflections.

Great storyline and funny as hell!!!

Love CCJ and her work but the sound was off a little. The female voice came across as a whisper throughout most of the audiobook which was weird.

Slayed my entire life. I can;t function...

So this was a nice surprise for me. The first read I'd tried from this author I enjoyed but was ok. This was my first romcom by her and I'm always willing to try another by an author before I write them off. The MCs Jaclyn and Kadan had a very rocky start. As fate kept putting them together, some of the most HILARIOUS situations ensued and I was floored at how much I was cracking up. I'll honest, the first few chapters started rough but once we got to know the characters, it was pure gold.

I think what i liked the most was that Kadan was light skinned but not emasculated. It wasn't a thing, he just was. I kept waiting for a light skinned man joke and it never came. That's the one thing that tends to turn me off with Black romance. Men are always super dark skinned, while the women are often racially ambigious, and some of my favorite authors are offenders of this. For some reason it's ok to make positive light skinned women but demonize or effeminize light skinned men.

Kadan was a vet AND vet. He served in the military in a medical field and couldn't work around humans so became a vet. He was also a legacy(usually I only see female legacies, so I squeed at a legacy who was kinda hood at the same time) and so hilarious. He reminded me of people I know, which made him even funnier.

Jaclyn was described as deep brown, which I feel is rare in AA,IR, MC romance. She was trying to fix her life but had a hard time at times, including getting a record(which ironically brings them back together). I do think she wasn't super feminine(which it seems like light skinned girls are allowed to be, but dark skinned women not as much) but her having locs, she was his type. Everything about her was his type.

They started out enemies to lovers/fake relationship but they became so much more. I even loved that Jaclyn adopted a cat; Im not a pet person so they tend to annoy me in romance. But she nursed "Miss Thing"(a Different World reference, shout out older millenials) back to health and she really became apart of the story XD

The villain in the story affect both the main characters in impactful ways; I'm glad Kadan was able to defend her from one of the hardest people defending her from as if I hadn't been in love with him before, I totally fell in love by then.

I WILL READ EVERY BOOK IN THIS SERIES. PLEASE MAKE THESE AUDIOBOOKS TOO, THEY WERE AMAZING!.

Nice Story

I really enjoyed this story....I purchased the audiobook....the narration was decent....This was a funny story....I love the enemies to lovers dynamic.....Jacqueline was extremely funny....she always had a smart comeback to anything someone said to her that she deemed inappropriate. But, her parts were also funny....this book really made me laugh. Really cute story!
