Riggs Stanton is a thief.
He’s also a liar, a jerk, and a playboy jock.
Sure, I might have thought we had a connection.
I might have thought he was worth breaking my “no dating” rule.
He might have even given me the best orgasm I’ve ever experienced to date.
But it was a farce.
A trick.
Another lie.
And I don’t make mistakes twice.
Now he says he needs me.
One week of my help and I never have to deal with him again.
For ten grand, I can suffer anything for seven days.
Even Riggs Stanton.
Except...
The more time I spend with him, the more I get to know him, the more I question myself.
What if what we shared before was real, and it’s everything else that’s fake?
Better with You is the second interconnected stand-alone in the Better Love series by Brit Benson. This enemies-to-lovers new adult romance is sassy, sexy, and has a guaranteed HEA. It is not necessary to listen to Love You Better before enjoying Better with You, but Better with You will contain minor spoilers for Love You Better.

This story was freaking sweet, so sweet it made my teeth ache! Lol but seriously, this book was perfection! I could not put it down, the struggles, and the sadness and the hurt, it was felt.
The loss in this book was profound, the way these sensitive situations were handled and written about were deeply heartfelt and painful to read. But the love behind the words was truly felt!
Bailey and Riggs had their struggles, but they were there for each other when things got really hard and that was just beautiful to read!
I loved this story so much!

I cried real tears. I felt all the feelings. I never knew how much feeling ONE SINGLE BREATH could convey, but I found out during this audiobook. There is not one thing I would change. If you are an avid audio listener or an newbie, you can't miss out on this one.
One of the BEST audiobooks that I have ever heard.

This audiobook can be listened to as a stand alone, although there are characters from the first book. This book is also fairly spicy so buckle up! I'm ready for book 3.

Bailey and Riggs are mentioned in the first book in this series BUT technically this could stand on its own. I’m going to tell you to read book 1 first! 😉 You can thank me later.
The MMC and FMC go through it and I mean I was a MESSSSS a few times…and I don’t cry 😂 Loved the back story for both of them and the cast of characters we were introduced too! GIVE ME MORE. On to book 3!
THAT STORY! 🥹

𝘉𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘠𝘰𝘶 is the second book in Brit’s Better Love series. This story focuses on Bailey (Sundance) and Riggs (Butch). Brit did a beautiful job tackling topics such as transphobia, terminal illness, and the death of a loved one. This book was such an emotional rollercoaster that I even had to take a pause and step away at some moments because my heart was that devastated. But that just goes to show what a talented author Brit is to pull such visceral emotions from her readers.
Bailey and Riggs brought so much chemistry and banter throughout this story and even though this focuses on the enemies-to-lovers trope, you experience so many more layers to these characters and the depth and growth that transpires from beginning to end. Individually they are on their own mission with something to prove but when they come together sexual tension oozes from the pages, sparks ignite, secrets come to the surface, anger takes over, and your left wondering will they get their HEA.
Joe Arden and Kelli Tager slayed another performance together. You know when you’re going to listen to an audiobook by these two, you’re in for the ride of your life. Joe and Kelli’s sheer talent with bringing these words to life is what I want to hear in every book I listen to.
Kelli brought Bailey’s confident, opinionated, and sassy persona to top tier levels but also her loyalty to the core. She conveyed her drive and determination in the beginning and strength and dedication up in the end. Kelli’s talent blows me away every time I listen to her. Chapter 17 gutted me and was one of those times I had to pause after the chapter and step away. The emotions she pulled out of me left me a mess and fractured my heart for Bailey. Kelli’s male voice and French accent are absolutely astounding as well!
Joe brought Riggs’ cocky swagger yet compassionate and vulnerable sides just as we’ve come to know he can do with such ease. His performance was swoony, clever, humorous, and gut-wrenching. I will forewarn you now, whatever you do, DO NOT listen to chapter 22 first thing in the morning drinking your coffee. Even with it being a shorter chapter, it was a profound one. The mesmerizing talent Joe had with bringing that chapter to life…ugh my heart. The pauses, the tears, and the sniffles gutted me to my very core that I had to hit pause and walk away. The emotions Joe brought out for Riggs left me in a puddle of my own tears. And THAT is what I want to experience. I want to hear the pain, I want to hear the heartache, I want to connect with the character on such an emotional level as if I am in the same room with them and Joe did just that. Of course, Joe’s French accent is one to always swoon over, and the spicy chapters definitely never leave anything to the imagination.
There are books you read/listen to that you just know from the beginning are going to leave a lasting impression on your soul, and Brit did that with her words and Joe and Kelli did that with their performance. Brit brought so much nostalgia that had me remembering my own angsty teenage self from many moons ago. This book made my little Midwestern heart so happy, and I can not recommend this book enough!
