Publisher's summary

When entering the gates of hell is only the beginning....

Matilda thought her brother had died until Hugh told her otherwise.

He’s still incarcerated, but he’s alive. Returning to Edin with William and Hugh beside her, she’s ready to fight for her brother’s freedom.

Anticipating a battle with bureaucrats for Artan’s liberation, it turns into something entirely different when they discover Hugh’s left the city’s gates open. Their worst fears are confirmed when a diseased stumbles out to meet them.

Entering the national service area might be like walking through the gates of hell, but with Artan’s freedom on the line, what other choice do they have? What they can’t possibly know is hell’s only the beginning.

Over the next few days, things are about to get a whole lot worse....

Beyond These Walls is a post-apocalyptic thrill ride. If you like blistering-paced end of the world fiction where life hangs in the balance, then you’ll love this latest installment of Michael Robertson’s exhilarating series.

This series has brought out a first for me

That first being I actually feel bad for the MCs they literally haven’t gotten a break it’s just one terrible thing to the next in a nonstop order. Till you get to the very end of a book then the next one starts and we’re right back to terror. The mental breakdowns for the characters makes sense when you think about how literally everyday for them is being tortured. You can’t even say it’s due to them being teenagers with no experience, literally every person they meet backstabs them nonstop and they constantly make the worst decisions while running on like 2hrs of sleep it seems. Even in war there is rest between battles but they just keep going nonstop. I feel so bad for them but it’s a great story I just hope they catch a break at some point 😂🤣

well....that went about how I'd think it would

while not as good as the first set, it wasnt bad. I very much dislike olga but judging by the reviews l, it appears I'm not alone in that heh. I do happen to find it ironic how some of the main characters were quick to chastise hughe for destroying Edin yet are quick to destroy every other civilization they come across so far, even well after having dealt with the overarching threats present. let's hope it gets better in the next set. fingers crossed!

It OK, 1-3 is better

Look, I love the first 3 books, but 4-6 started down a path I didn't like. 1st, the content crying from William and the others is to much. 2nd William seem so weak in these books. like a little girl. Now comes to my last and final complaint. which is the biggest. Orga the female character in the story. Pushing the political correct idea to much. Which will be the fall of our own real life Society. The push of women's rights has no place in a post-apocalypse story. Running from the affected "zombies" the last thing you're going to think about is "I'm a woman and I can do things better than men" truthfully if anybody ever gets stuck in that situation. They're would be afraid of their life and not worry about women's rights, it's retarded and stupid.

nothing good

ALL MEN in the book or evil, conniving, backstabbing, cheaters, wife an children abusers, and or weak in mind and spirit . Nearly all the weman are victims or the stronger, and smarter. Lead male caracter is a indecisive boy that stumbles through every obstacle they face. l wonder if the writer ever spent time competing with other boys growing up, it appears that from his views that he was a bench wormer to scared to compet like a man. YES l think the book has a good base but the male caracters or so bad it ruined the book
