About this listen

“An absolute delight of a magical tale.”—Louisa Morgan, author of The Age of Witches

Is her magic a threat to witchkind…or is she simply powerful enough to save the world?

Rebekah Wilde was eighteen when she left St. Cyprian, officially stripped of her magic and banished from her home. Ten years later, she’s forced to return to face the Joywood Coven, who preside over not just her hometown but the whole magical world. Rebekah is happy to reunite with her sister, and with her friends, but the implications of her return are darker and more dangerous than they could have imagined.

The Joywood are determined to prove Rebekah and her friends are a danger to witchkind, and her group faces an impending death sentence if they can’t prove otherwise. Rebekah must seek help from the only one who knows how to stop the Joywood—the ruthless immortal Nicholas Frost. Years ago, he was her secret tutor in magic, and her secret impossible crush. But the icy immortal is as remote and arrogant as ever, and if he feels anything for Rebekah—or witchkind—it’s impossible to tell.

So epic! I can’t get enough! Read Small Town, Big Magic first. The whole series is incredible.

Love it. Learning that the past is the present and everything is all encompassing. When’s the next one coming out?

Just lovely- grief is love and love is magic? Really great story and I agree we need more. Terrific narration too.

This is such a fun story! The characters are relatable and even though they're witches, they feel like they could represent any small town anywhere.

can't wait for the next book!

Fun read!

I really enjoyed the POV of the younger sister.
I absolutely love me some Nicholas Frost! My only issue was the narration. Bothered a little by her pronunciation of Beltane, but her mispronunciation of Samhain was like a knife in my gut. Please correct before the next book comes out. I will not be able to listen to it if she keeps pronouncing Samhain like SAMhayn.

A big fan of Nicholas Frost

This one picked up right where the first book left off, but the authors did a swap and moved the perspective to the prodigal sister Rebbeca. Wonderfully done, engaging second installment. My only complaint? Teach the narrator to properly pronounce the festival names. Samhain is not pronounced as it looks in traditional English phonetics, it’s pronounced Sow-in.

Fun little sequel!

The younger Wilde sister was an immature brat imo. I did not like her much so that changed the story for me. Great fun, witchy setting, incredibly stressful plot. No fun relaxation here which is what I was looking for. I like my mysteries a lot darker and my fun reads light and stress free.

Too much angst for such a fun story

Much better character development on this book. I wasn't a fan of Nicholas' voice but it was bearable. Looking forward to the 3rd book in the series and how the author will conclude the series.

Fun read

I love the cozy romance paired with the interesting plot. If you are looking for no plot smut, this isn’t your book. But it is a fun and engaging read. Can’t wait for book 3!

Absorbing and cozy
