About this listen

He's a billionaire...and a rake.

Yes, I know it's not the 1800s. I'm just a bit obsessed with historical romance, that's all. And books in general, which is why I'm on my way to interview for my dream job at the library when Adrian Westfield's sheep-like hound knocks me over and into the mud. So I'm late, dirty, and completely flub my interview—only to get the offer of my life.

To win custody of his baby daughter, Adrian Westfield wants to make me his fake wife.

Sweet and Entertaining Romantic Comedy!

I liked this Fake Marriage Single Dad Romance. Adrian and Jane's story is funny, cute, sweet, and heartwarming. This is an entertaining Romantic Comedy. Erin Mallon and Lance Greenfield did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. I like Misha Bell's writing. She never disappoints. Another Great Book By Misha Bell

I loved this quirky story! I especially loved how it was narrated from both sides, providing a better insight to the minds of both characters. I definitely did not see that twist coming! Erin Mallon always is a great choice for Misha's female leads, but I personally did not feel Lance Greenfield's was the right fit for the male lead. As handsome as Misha described Adrian to be, I expected a more sensual male voice.

Fun and steamy

This was such a fun romantic comedy! These narrators did a wonderful job! I absolutely LOVED listening to them bring life to these wildly fun characters! This was a true laugh out loud story with all the inner voices and Yoda making his presence known. There were some real issues for this couple as well and a nice little twist I never saw coming.

Super cute!

Really a cute story, but not at all steamy. I enjoyed it nonetheless. The narration is first rate, of course.

ok read

I enjoyed the book but had a hard time getting to know the hero. spoilers....having naked statues of ex girlfriends and then showing them off to heroine and best man talking about the heros sexual diary at the the best man speech.....kinda stupid. likeable characters and no major unnecessary drama...overall an easy quick read.

Sweet

I really like how Misha Bell writes rom-coms and the silly way in how she gives personalities to the animals. These books are always lighthearted and funny without a lot of drama or angst, which makes them the perfect weekend for beach read/listen.

Monologue is too much! Annoyingly bad

Could not get past the weird monologue. It became too much and annoying. The story line was fine and enjoyable.

What ridiculous FUN!

I'm sure there are people out there dumping on this but I am not one! These two are zany weird and just FUN. I love quirky characters. In real life, I am weird and dorky person. I love characters that are too. So the fact that she has an inner monolog that is a Victorian era prim and proper lady is hilarious and he speaks for his overgrown sheep looking dog in an absurd voice- is overwhelming entertaining. I couldn't help but smile at the absurdity and enjoy the ride.

Is it realistic? No. Did you really pick up a Misha Bell book looking for realism? Or a billionaire romance looking for realism? People need to get out of their heads and just enjoy the fun! Look no further than Billionaire Rake!
