About this listen

Historian Aldo Lombardi is a recent graduate of the Pontifical Gregorian University summoned to appear before Pope Benedict. Allison Gillespie is an investigator whose assignment leads her to Aldo and a 500-year-old secret whose discovery may unravel the very fabric of the Christian faith. The pair must uncover the truth behind the secret and reveal what the leaders of the modern Seventh-day Adventist Church know that could destroy the Catholic Church.

It’s a race against time to discover the truth before hundreds of millions of followers are thrown into chaos - and before a rogue sect unleashes a global cataclysm to fulfill its founder’s doomsday prophecy.

I really loved this book but I will definitely have to listen again! The premise is fascinating and makes me really question if this book is completely fictional or based mostly on facts. I like to listen while driving and sometimes I get distracted and miss small parts...not a good thing with this book! You have to listen intently or you can lose track of characters, their key roles and dates. There was a lot of information presented...almost too much! I love details but when there are too many details, it takes away from the enjoyment of listening to the book...for me! However, I recommend that you listen and decide for yourself. Overall it's a good book. I do plan to listen again and to continue following the series.
