I loved it!! wish that there was a part 2!! V.C. Andrew's has been a favorite of mine for many years! This book is one of the reasons why.

I liked this book. I liked others by VC Andrews more, but this book is still good. This is a story about a girl with such a high IQ, she is actually a genius. I love how the author pointed out how life isn't always good for smart people. I listened to this book straight thru today.

The author, VC Andrews did a good job on this book. I was so glad to see a happy ending. The narrator, Rebekkah Ross did a good job delivering this story to us. I liked all the voices she used and her words were smooth and easy to listen to.

I really enjoy V.C Andrews stories but for some reason I didn’t care for this one. It just wasn’t my up of tea. But I’m sure there’s plenty of people who will like it.

This book was a snoooozzzeee fest! I would have prob given up on it had I been reading it... But it was an audible and I forced my way thru it. About midway, it started getting better. By the end, I wish there had been more... You have to be a true V.C. Andrews fan to appreciate it. Just forge thru, after the first half, it will get better!

If you’re interested in listening to a girl rambling on and on and on (NEVER-ENDING) about how smart, different & isolated she is: This is your book.

Although “Garden Of Shadows” & the “Ruby” series were great gems (clearly a lot of thought went into them), I’m tired of listening through long horrible pieces of work in V.C. Andrew’s name. There wasn’t much effort put into this to resemble V.C. Andrew’s style, cliff hangers, nor flow. This feels like something Neiderman cranked out while under the influence to make a few bucks. It’s a forced novel lacking any life. The characters are flat, don’t evolve, & the same ramblings are repeated hundreds of times. The author here seems to assume that the readers are dumb?

Isn’t it about time Neiderman uses his own name & takes credit for these?

The ONLY reason we are purchasing these are because we’re hoping for something as amazing, captivating & well written as the Dollanganger Series (first five books), Heaven Series, or even Ruby Series. We want exciting characters, an actual story line, complex characters, cliff hangers, characters growing & evolving, a combination of actions followed by inner thoughts, surprises & wow factors & depth. We want our female lead to slay unthinkable dragons and fall in love. Not with a flat one dimensional male lead, but a male lead that’s more human. The romance in recent books have been cringeworthy as the male leads are boring. The dialogs delivered are stale. If anything, I wonder why the female leads wouldn’t cut bait & run? ..& why am I listening to this hoping to find a spec of V.C. ANDREWS writing style?
