About this listen

The epic conclusion to The Rylee Adamson series from New York Times best-selling author Shannon Mayer.

"My name is Rylee and I am a Tracker."

When children go missing, and the Humans have no leads, I'm the one they call. I am their last hope in bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot.

My final salvage, and this time I must rescue the entire world.

Orion has fooled the entire human population with his lies, and they follow him like mindless zombies. They are the lost ones now.

I have my allies and my loved ones with me, but while they will fight to their death, it is still not enough. I must seal the Veil closed and send the demons back forever.

There is only one thing left for me to do. Face Orion alone.

But Orion knows my weakness. And he has stolen her away, leaving me with a choice no mother should ever face.

Performed by Nora Achrati, Yasmin Tuazon, Chris Genebach, Shanta Parasuraman, Bradley Foster Smith, Christopher Williams, Karen Novack, Laura C. Harris, Colleen Delany, Ken Jackson, James Konicek, Chris Stinson, Lydia Kraniotis, Anthony Palmini, Matthew Bassett, Natalie Van Sistine, Amanda Forstrom, Mark Harrietha, Richard Rohan, Dawn Ursula, Holly Adams, Ryan Carlo Dalusung, Terence Aselford, Niusha Nawab, Robb Moreira, Rob McFadyen, Steven Carpenter, Eric Messner, Michael John Casey, Nanette Savard, Hannah Curtis, Triya Leong, Chris Davenport, Eva Wilhelm, Julie-Ann Elliott, Darius Johnson, Debi Tinsley, Nazia Chaudhry, Christopher Graybill, Catherine Aselford, Carolyn Kashner, and David Jourdan.

Wow! What an ending!

I am sitting here unsure and at a loss for words as to how to describe this ending for the series. I never could have guessed how everything would have turned out in the end. I cried tears of sadness and happiness, laughed, felt heartbroken, felt joy, experienced shock, and wow so many different feelings! This truly was a phenomenal ending for this series. As I've said in my previous reviews for this series I am so glad that I listened to it via graphic audio, the combination of narrators voicing the different characters just brought this story to life and made me feel so much! This is an amazing series and everyone should definitely read it!

wow

I rarely leave reviews. I always rate them but actually write not often. I have medical issues that due not allow me to use screens much. have not watched TV in 5 years. Most of my entertainment is from audiobooks a movie in your mind. This maybe the best series I have ever had the pleasure to listen too I have over 1500 audiobooks from here. The story absolutely smashing. From the very beginning you get sucked into the story. as it progresses you fall in love with some of the characters, and hate others. if you love and you hate in the same book you know it is written and performed wonderfully . the cast is absolutely perfect. every voice every story. smashing You will cry, you will laugh, cry again and smile. What a story, what a performance. Thank you for this , Brought a wide range of emotions. thank you

That ending was both beautiful and heartbreaking. I could never have guessed how this series finale was going to turn out & oh my goodness, I don’t have words. I am both broken and fixed & just not sure how to feel that it is all done.

DrSlater

I hooked on dramatic multiple characters of this novels. I wish all audible storytelling for all novels. The storyline has intrigued me from the beginning. The characters are charismatic and intense chemistry. But, loved Alex and was disappointed he was killed off. There were so many times I found myself laughing out loud. If if the storytelling ends with this novel. It was a great ride of paranormal fantasies.

Dial back the wet bodily function volume.

I love this type of audio book to the extent where I’m re-listening to books I’ve both read and listened to the single narrator audio versions. It is so engrossing! I’m sucked in to the point where very little in my environment distracts from it. (Here comes the “but”). BUT, certain sound effects used are unrealistically loud and therefore off putting and downright gross. I absolutely do not need to hear someone chewing their food while they talk, nor do I enjoy listening to another character slurping their drink. Not at the same volume as one would speak. Your sound engineers or whoever adds these sound effects should know that those types of sounds carry farther and faster than speech or other types of sounds due to their high vibration frequency. Therefore in order to compensate for that those bodily functional wet sounds they do not need to be applied at the same decibel as Speech. In other words, in real life and on visual media such as television movies etc. those types of sounds are rarely as loud as the characters voices. We hear them but are not distracted by them. The scene where two characters meet off planet and share tea, is simply too disgusting for me to get through and actually listen to the dialogue due to the over-the-top slurping of said tea! It’s simply made my stomach turn. Maybe part of the problem is that since we are not engaging our visual senses, our sense of hearing becomes a little more heightened. Whatever the case, it would only enhance the listeners ability to become engrossed in the story if you all reduce the volume of the body sound effects. So to speak.

Ruined the story with all the noise

I was excited when I saw this story had been turned into a graphic novel because I thought it was going to be like a full cast audio book. It wasn't all you did was make loud noises over the story there were times when I couldn't even hear the words over the music. Wish You would have left the regular audio version of these books instead of deleting them and only providing these. Love the story but can't listen to all that noise again.
