Story
Horrific tales of fright told around a bonfire during remote backwoods retreats are common among close friends. As each person tests the others' ability to remain calm and resist the urge to look over a shoulder as the sounds of nature bellow out in the backdrop, only one may claim victory as the most frightening of the group. Backwoods Bonfire inserts the listener into a group of friends that unintentionally create a case study on what horror means to them, attempting to coerce the others to believe that horror is specific, not fluid.

Welcome to Derry, Maine. It’s a small city, a place as hauntingly familiar as your own hometown. Only in Derry the haunting is real. They were seven teenagers when they first stumbled upon the horror. Now they are grown-up men and women who have gone out into the big world to gain success and happiness. But the promise they made 28 years ago calls them reunite in the same place where, as teenagers, they battled an evil creature that preyed on the city’s children.

On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

Engaging
The story starts giving the audience a flavor of scandalous heist and ends up giving a taste of a sinister doll. And that of Adolf Hitler??? The story was pretty engaging throughout the end. After finishing i have come to know it is a segment from Ms. Roma Gray's "Haunted House" , which i am pretty much eager to give a look.

A cross between Robert and Chucky
Blue Bell is just a doll right? Wrong it comes from the bowels of Hell itself and Jasper has just unwittingly became its puppet. I know know why I don't like ventriloquist dummies and clowns this book seriously does not help that fact. Blue Bell story flows at a good pace and is very well written. I'll probably have nightmares but it's worth it. This book was phenomenal I can't wait to read more about this character.
I received this review copy at my request and it was absolutely worth it. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review because I really enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it to horror enthusiasts.

Overall this is a clever story. Well written and the narrator did a spot on job. The only downfall is after 20 minutes and the story getting good, it invites you to listen to the next part. Trust me though, the story is captivating enough to warrant looking for the next part.

Engaging Style
Terry Self’s narration style is perfect for Roma Gray’s writing. But it is her writing that is the star. Her writing envolves you from the first sentence. And you won’t want to stop listening until the story is finished.Easy in this instance, since the story is only 23 minutes long!

Creepy and completely absorbing. I loved it.
This short audiobook only lasts for 23 minutes, yet those few minutes are enough to hook any listener.
Firstly, the clown, Bluebell, on the cover of this audiobook is enough to have potential readers freaked out even before the story begins.
Readers are introduced to Jasper, a regular guy. Someone normal. With normal problems. Out of desperation to help his ailing father, he does something he normally never would.
This leads (somehow) to him discovering a clown doll named BlueBell. This doll will change his life...forever.
It is a difficult task to create characters and a storyline that will
grab and hold a reader's attention in only 23 minutes, yet author Roma Gray accomplishes this with ease.
I did not want this story to end and am thrilled that the story continues with her full length novel HAUNTED HOUSE HARBOR.
Bluebell is narrated by Terry F. Self whose enunciation and pacing are perfect for this creepy tale.
I rate BLUEBELL as 5 out of 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and I am very much looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

5 Stars For Roma
Ms Gray has penned a great short story here, with a great character (Jasper) and a solid storyline. Maybe we will see Jasper in a future story. Terry F. Self was good at narrating. I received this audiobook for free from FABC and this is my voluntary review.

Great Horror Story!
Would you consider the audio edition of Blue Bell to be better than the print version?
Yes I would! I thought the narrator did a great job with this book.
What did you like best about this story?
The two things that scare me the most in horror stories are dolls and clowns. Since this story contained a clown doll, I thought it made for the perfect horror story.
What about Terry F. Self’s performance did you like?
I thought his voice was great!
Any additional comments?
Great horror story that I highly recommend!

What a ride!
Roma's method of storytelling is absolutely amazing. I went into this book thinking it would be a typical clown/jump scare type story, but damn, she not only messed with my head but made me reconsider my own bias against clowns. Well done!
Terry Self's narration added a uniqueness to the book like only he could include
