Great characters with love of country. This story shows how people jump to conclusions about others without knowing them or walking in their shoes. Lots of exciting action & mystery. Can’t wait for next one in series. I’m not a big fan of the narrator for this type of book.

Zoe, her son, and Linc are a great combination. I liked this story a bit more than others in the series. Zoe is a more interesting protagonist than others in my opinion, and her son is really fun. I liked Linc and how he grew as the story progressed. The character motivations in this book made sense. This book is the only one of the series that I could actually see myself listening to a second time. There are some problems with this book, and my criticism of the series as a whole is previously noted in my review of the first book. In all though, I really liked these characters so the book is my favorite so far of this series.

It was hard for me to get past the accent of the reader but the story was good.

I like these kinds of cheesy books. They are sweet while being a bit suspenseful with some exciting parts and it’s clean.

This is book 2 of series. I can only assume that this is the work of a novice writer. It’s a duplicate story line of book 1 but not as well written.
