Publisher's summary

It’s her destiny to break the seal, and his to ensure she survives…

On break from college, Isobel is looking forward to making her own decisions while her parents are overseas. When she returns home, she discovers it’s no longer the welcoming place it used be and the ancient window her parents installed is more than just a beautiful piece of history.

Isobel has locked away the strange power that wells inside of her, terrified of what might happen if she acknowledges it. She dreams of places she’s never been and times she was never alive to see. As her dreams grow more intense and things spiral out of control, Isobel begins to question her sanity. Desperate for answers, she may have to open herself to the power that’s waiting inside of her in order to find them.

Damien is ancient, even for a dark angel, and he knows the demon who hunts Isabel is a formidable foe; he’s watched the battle play out too many times before. Haunted by past failures, he’s determined to keep Isobel alive as she unravels a past that spans centuries and prepares to face the demon that wants her dead.

Awesome!

What made the experience of listening to Bound by Time the most enjoyable?

The story itself was just awesome! started out and i didn't really know what to expect. as new characters came in i tried to guess about them but found i was wrong on quite a few of them which made for a nice change. The story didn't have any spots that i felt bored even when there was no huge action happening.

What did you like best about this story?

The Window.... what was up with the window. so... basically the whole story. It for sure kept my attention figuring out what was right and wrong and what would happen next??

Which scene was your favorite?

I can't say i have a favorite scene, there are a few that stand out more, like when she goes up into the attic and the walls. When they are in the "accident". those are just a few.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I can't say i did. but i really did love the book!

a book with everything

I was gifted this audio ARC from the author/Narrator for a honest and unbiased review .
A D TROSPER wrote this sweet romantic story.
Susan Fouche has done another fab job with relating the story to us listeners.
Excellent read, hard to put down.
Right from the beginning the characters were well developed and believable. So I can honestly say this is a great book. It has angels, demons, and women who save the world and every so often a lol moment.
I highly recommend this book

Angels and Demons.

Any additional comments?

I found Isobel to be really annoying and I didn't believe that she'll be able to do what she is supposed to do based on her character.

She finds things about her birth mother and she did not dispute it or think that her mother had gone insane. Yet when she sees things she thinks that she is going crazy. Why?
Damien (the love interest) then tells her about her stepmother (who she has a good relationship with) and I thought that should be Isobel. That's what I expected her to be like based on the story since it is based on Demons and Angels. But we get someone who doesn't do a lot except cry and think she is going crazy at the beginning and has to be saved (by Damien) and convince her that Xpar is using her fear to get to her. Yes she does change towards the end of the book but it still did not convince me that she was the right character for this story.

The other thing that made me believe she is not the right character for this book is that she did not really believe in god or think about it. yet she is one of the chosen one/ the key. I mean if you have a product to sell you would choose someone who believes in your product and is passionate about it. So why would god/gods choose her. I wouldn't. I would have chosen her stepmother based on what we found out about her. I don't know if she believed in anything but she still had something.

The story line was slow and uneventful with very little happening along the way
This book isn't for me but might be for others. It could be that I was expecting to much from the book.

Strange

I got this book via audiobook boom. It was a good listen although the h made me mad a few times. I did enjoy the overall story so much that I used one of my credits to buy the first one since one of the reviewers said it was best to listen to it before listening to this one. I must also agree that it has some moments when you know you are glad you are listening to it in the daytime and driving so those things that go bump in the night will not get you too.LOL. The narrator was pretty good and brought the story to life. I am not into the scary book scene, but the storyline was pretty good.

Souls bonded through time and History.

Would you listen to Bound by Time again? Why?

Yes I would but this time I would read A.D Trosper's first "Bound Novel" and also Id wait until I wasn't alone. but that's just me being me getting scared easily. In this story Isobel is home alone for the Summer and a really bad Demon and visions of her past lives twisted by the malevolent Demon to scare her so she wouldn't defeat him as she is destined to do.I liked the book so much (even though I got creeped out lol) I bought the other Bound Novel called Bound by legend.(Amazing!that book is about a sensor in her 3rd incarnation and she rocks !really brave and kick A** you will also find a certain Angel from this book in there too ;) )

Have you listened to any of Susan Fouche’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I actually haven't no but I wouldn't hesitate to again. I think Susan Fouche is Legendary. Her enactment, tempo, and changing speech patterns for each individual is distinct and engaging. I do not believe the print version is any less compared to the audiobook but I will say Susan adds a new dimension to the novel that cannot be appraised enough and would suggest to any reader to give the audio version a try.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

absolutely!and I did and then went on to the next book.(well the first book)

Any additional comments?

I absolutely adore what A.D Trosper does at the end of each book.he goes back through the story and tells us where she deviated from history and fact of historical events or artifacts. In this book she thanks a somebody who translated the Latin language correctly as web translations did not do it correctly.Just the fact that that was checked should show the dedication of how much detail was gone in to explaining the difference from history and these books, the same is done using a Cherokee legend in the first book.

Bound by Time

Isabel has been led to believe her gifts are not gifts, but it's past time for her to accept them and do the job she was put on earth to do. I loved the concept of the story and the reasoning behind angels, and the explanations of religion. Even with these aspects to the story it does not feel religious. A few parts of the story I got a little frustrated with and wanted her to accept and listen! But it's a good story and moves along nicely!

To slow for me

What made the experience of listening to Bound by Time the most enjoyable?

I loved the plot

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Susan Fouche?

Not sure, she was alright just super slow

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really

Any additional comments?

If you know how to speed up audio this book is amazing, the plot is really interesting and the chapters have a little something going on. I was given this free copy, in return for my unbiased review

Great Clean Paranormal Romance

Any additional comments?

Isobel discovers that she is a "channel", a person able to summon energy to kill demons. Damian, a dark angel, is her protector and soulmate. She eventually remembers that she and Damian have lived many past lives together. They are on a mission to kill a powerful demon and Isobel is the key to his banishment.

Bound By Time was a fun paranormal romance and a very enjoyable listen. The story kept my interest and the narration was well done. I would recommend this.
