About this listen

Have you thought about starting a meditation practice, but just don’t know how? Are you looking for a healthy way to reduce your stress? If you answered "Yes" to either of these questions, then you are going to want to keep reading.

Meditation has been around for centuries, especially for those in Eastern cultures. Over that last decade or so, meditation has found new popularity for people in Western cultures as a means to relax and de-stress. Even though meditation is not a new practice, it is still fairly new to those of us in the US. That’s why this book is here to teach those of us who weren’t raised in a culture that taught us about meditation and its benefits.

The amount of stress we all deal with on a daily basis continues to increase as the world changes. Stress, though, is what is known as a silent killer. While it may not seem like a significant thing, it hurts your body. When stressed, the body releases stress hormones, like cortisol, to try and help us get out of the stressful situation. Even though we aren’t be stressed by something that could hurt us, like a woolly mammoth, our body still thinks we are.

Our body’s reaction to things still works on a very primitive scale, and that’s why it is so important to do our best to reduce stress. Otherwise, we are going to be stuck in a constant state of flight or fight. This is what causes things like insomnia, heartburn, fertility problems, high blood sugar, and so much more.

Now, if you add some form of meditation to your life, it will reduce or get rid of those problems. In this book, we will discuss everything that meditation can do for you and more.

You will learn:

  • What Buddhism is
  • The most popular forms of meditation
  • Simply ways to add meditation to your life
  • Benefits of meditating on a regular basis
  • Why Buddhists meditate
  • Meditation posture
  • And much more

While meditation isn’t some magical pill that will get rid of stress in your life, it can get rid of stress in your body. Life is tough, but meditation can be those few moments in your day where all you have to focus on is your breath. It gives that time to relax and create a calm mind that most people never get to experience. Whether you only have time for a five-minute meditation or a 30-minute meditation, make sure you meditate.

Meditation, while it may seem difficult at first, isn’t that hard to add to your day-to-day life if you truly want to. After a single meditation session, you will notice a difference in how you feel.

If you are serious about your health, then don’t wait any longer. Whether you know you need to reduce your stress, or if you simply want something that will help you sleep at night, this book can help you. Don’t wait any longer. Scroll up and click “Buy Now”.

horrible

this is the most horrible narration I have ever heard in my life. I don't know if the narrator is a real person or a robot

Not for me

Unfortunately not very engaging. The AI translation to voice it’s not my thing. Perhaps if actually read by a person it would be much more catching

Audible should be embarrassed to list this book

This book is read by either a text to speech program or the most monotone narrator I've ever heard. This is the quality of product I'd expect from a random YouTube channel, not an Audible offering. I honestly can't review the contents of the book because the reading is so distractingly bad.
