Publisher's summary

It was the perfect plan.
I needed a wife - temporarily - in order to inherit the family business.
And she needed a favor - the kind that takes nine months to deliver.

We had it all worked out, from the no-touching policy on our wedding night (her rule) to the no-falling-in-love decree (mine). She’d marry me, I’d give her the means to have the baby she’d always wanted, and one year later we’d amicably part ways with no hassle, no demands, and certainly no regrets.

After all, Bianca DeRossi and I are experts at infuriating one another - we’ve been doing it since we were kids. Trouble is, she grew up gorgeous and feisty, and she still knows exactly how to get under my skin.

And that wedding night? Well, it doesn’t exactly go down hands-free.

Then she moves in with me, and I really start to lose my mind. From her sexy little pout to her wicked sense of humor to those meatball sandwiches she makes just because she knows they’re my favorite...I find myself wanting to break every rule we put in place.

Our story was never supposed to end with happily ever after.
But call me crazy, I just might be in love with my wife.

💕I LOVED IT. 💕

Call Me Crazy is a hot mess. Maybe that's why I loved it so much. Harlow has a way of using ironic humor to get under the skin and get into your heart. Enzo and Bianca are a powder keg of drama waiting to explode. At first introduction their chemistry sparks a flame that only gets stronger with ever interaction. Fire and ice quickly becomes an addiction that continues to grow. Add in the genius that is Teddy Hamilton and the sassiness of Samantha Brentmoor and the heart trip keeps getting better. There's always a fun time between the pages of a Melanie Harlow book.

This was an amazing listen! Devoured it!

This book was phenomenal.
I haven’t been this engrossed in a story in a long time. I literally devoured this book in a day which is not typical for me. I just couldn’t get enough of Enzo and Bianca. They had sizzling hot chemistry from the very beginning and burned up the pages with their undeniable need for each other.

Bianca and Enzo grew up together but were never really close. Bianca may of had a small crush on him but it wasn’t anything to write home about. If anything, his popular, egotistical ways and the groupies falling at his feet, were a turn-off (at least that’s what she told herself). Now years later, Enzo needs to get married to take over his father’s company and Bianca has some things of her own she’s in need of. Together these two come up with the perfect plan. All they have to do is try not to hurt each other or fall in love in the process.
This was a highly enjoyable listen. The dialogue between Bianca and Enzo was priceless. I loved how Enzo brought Bianca out of her shell. These two dropping all walls and letting themselves be vulnerable for “just one night” (we know how that agreement goes) was so intense and drool worthy.
I listened to this on audiobook and would highly recommend.
Teddy Hamilton is a God at narration and will suck you right in. This was my first time listening to Samantha Brentmoor and I really enjoyed her performance and interpretation of Bianca. I will for sure be listening to more from both of these narrators!

Wonderful story and wonderful narration

Call me Crazy is one of my favourite reads and I was excited to hear it on audible. Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor did a wonderful job bringing this story and the characters to life, the did a wonderful job with the banter as well as the emotions in in great story.

Call Me Crazy is book 3 in the Bellamy Creek Series and Enzo and Bianca’s story has shot straight to one of my top reads of 2021. I love Melanie Harlow’s style, I love her characters and I love the towns are stories are set in but this book took me to whole different level. I was captivated and drawn in from the first page and I knew straight away I had something very special on my kindle, I knew from the first chapter Enzo and Bianca where going to stay with me long after the final words in their romance had been read. Enzo and Bianca have known each other all their life’s so when Enzo needs a marriage of convenience and Bianca needs a sperm donor the choice was obvious but what happens when they spend time under the same roof, what happens when feelings come into play will the marriage of convenience turn into a marriage for life ..... guess you need to read the book to find that out. Call Me Crazy has all the feels, it’s well written and it’s a beautiful love story, the chemistry is sizzling and the banter is witty. I fell hard and fast for this couple and I’m sure you will too so please one click this gem of a read. Perfect addition to a great series.

Absolutely perfect!

Sooo funny! I found myself giggling all through the book! Teddy Hamilton is perfect as Enzo the OTHER Flynn Ridder. Lol! And Samantha Brentmoor is amazing as Bianca. Both actors are especially good with multiple characters voices which brings to life this funny, sexy, insightful book.
It’s worth the investment !!
Happy reading 💕🌸

This book was way more than I ever expected

Whew…I needed a moment to regroup & process my thoughts and feelings after this one. Bianca was way more than I expected her to be, & Enzo…who I described to my best friend as being “extra” before I read this now has the description of “extra special”. He is a special man, through & through.

First impression of Bianca from the previous book was more along the lines of a teensy bit pretentious, but also funny in the way she gets under Enzo’s skin. But seeing as Cheyenne & Blair love her so much…there’s got to be more. As we get to know her on a deeper level, Bianca is a woman with dreams of a family of her own & is dealing with some very real hardships that hit way to close to home. Needless to say, I cried more than others might, but I’m not a reader who won’t read potential triggers, I just find myself getting more emotionally involved.

Enzo, on the other hand is the sexy Italian playboy who doesn’t know it yet, but he’s ready to settle down. After one failed attempt, he’s almost given up hope of achieving his dreams of inheriting his family business. He and Bianca strike a deal that will change the course of both of their lives forever.

Watching Enzo be by Bianca’s side through every up & every down showed the true man he is deep down. The way he held her & comforted her when she was hurting made me fall in love with him. Then when his dreams changed & he was hurting, I just wanted to hold him too. Showing her that both of their dreams could come true, they just may look a little different, was the sweetest part & had me breaking down all over again. Bianca & Enzo were so perfect for each other, even from the high school years, and their HEA was so perfect and so well deserved. Now if we could all be so happy in love, life, & family.

Teddy Hamilton & Samantha Brentmoor’s narration completely immersed me in the story

What a way to ruin a beautiful trope 😩

So, sigh… this trope is really one of my favorites… arranged marriage/marriage of convenience… with characters in the same age bracket aaaand not gagillionare… perfect right…? Not here…

In this book I kept 🙄🙄 like this is NOOOT all all how this works, this is not how any of this wooooorks… so I stopped, came back and it wasn’t any better and had to commit to finishing it.

The male protagonist started really well, typical for this genre… he was a tad egotistical and at the end had redeeming qualities BUT he could never keep his trap shut!
They’re not “telling anyone” he’s telling his friends 🙄 the same with the female protagonist… like what was the point? Just say parents can’t know because your friends certainly will…

Now, the female protagonist is what has made me want to stop reading this genre… childish, immature… so immature I almost threw my device away… like WTAF???🤬🤬🤬 no one is this immature and stupid right?

Impulsive female characters annoy the ever loving **** out of me… When she packed and left without any real discussion with her partner…like why isn’t anyone sticking to the “contract?” Not one thing!!! Where’s the “honesty?” Or it’s honesty only when it’s him? Did you actually read the contract or was it for him?
The most annoying thing is the book starts well… legitimate problems with seemingly well adjusted adults… the s+x part was okay but the rest was for the love of all that’s good! What is this???? I found myself wondering about the side characters because they came across normal…

I did not enjoy… if you like fluff with airhead pressing to be smart? Fine but if you want characters with depth, some sense? This is not the book for you… GAH!!!! So much promise…

Poignant and emotional

Enzo and Bianca are enemies but fun ones who make fun of each other but still seem to have an underlying affection for each other. Bianca wants a baby. Enzo needs to get married. They decide on a fake marriage with the goal of him getting ownership of his company and her getting a baby. But can they get out of this without falling for each other?

This was a fun but still poignant story especially for women who have faced issues with infertility (I would be one of them). The ups and downs, the anger and sadness and emotional instability was so well characterized in this story. I also loved how the characters grew with each other and while infertility is a serious topic, there were still some trademark laughs to go along with the tears. Overall, a well rounded story with great characters, including those from prior stories (that I have not yet read but will so because I loved this book so much!)

The narration team, including Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor is fantastic. Both are great at infusing emotion in their reading and bringing the listener into the story.

Doubted

I actually doubted the story and kinda knew the outcome. However, once I started I was hooked. I recommend.
