Story
Matheus Taylor didn't ask to be murdered. To be fair, the percentage of people actually asking to be murdered is probably small enough to be safely ignored, but he felt it was worth stating regardless. His life might have been ordinary, but it was his life and he wasn't done with it yet. Quin didn't care. A 1,700-year-old Roman, Quintus Livius Saturnius had a different view of morality than most people. Killing Matheus and hijacking his undead existence seemed perfectly acceptable to him.

Story
FBI analyst Kassidy Bishop is assigned to the "'For You' Killer" task force after a series of sadistic murders bearing the same signature arise in different parts of the country. The homicides are both calculated and savage, occurring in different states, but bearing the same signature: the words "for you" scribbled at each crime scene. The case chills Kassidy, bringing back memories of her own encounter with a violent criminal five years earlier.

Story
When her best friend disappears during Mardi Gras, microbiologist Claire Brookes is determined to find her. Her only lead is a bar called Once Bitten - a haven for the dark, melancholy and vampire-obsessed. And while Claire generally prefers science nerds over the Gothy children of New Orleans, something about the bar's tall, dark, and delish bartender makes her mouth water.... Bar owner Rafe Moreau is pretty sure that there's more to Claire than uptightness and frumpy clothes. And as they delve further into the dark, seedy underworld of the Big Easy, Claire and Rafe turn to each other....

Just not believable!
I appreciated the themes of God’s love and forgiveness, and shining a light on the horror of child trafficking. However—overplayed the Hero” story, that Jo & Connaly could “fix” this horror. Have these characters not heard of the FBI?? Frustrating storyline. Just not buying it.

Extremely scary villain
The villains in this book are beyond evil. I knew that God was more powerful and in the end God wins the battle of good vs evil.
I liked the main characters, however, the widow’s teen girl was such a whiner! And stupid to boot! I yelled at her a lot!!
If you can make it through the evil parts, you will enjoy the story.

Excellent
The authors books are always good, clean and faith based. The story has a good tense plot, how far does a mother go for her son. Good narration added to the story and I enjoy. Given audio for my voluntary review

Really enjoy this author
I really enjoy the focus on faith and God and the suspense of this author's novels. This one did have a little bit of edgy material for a Christian book but I know others would think me silly for saying so. I do feel that the main female character was too naive to capture my admiration. I prefer a heroine that is smart and intuitive and definitely not naive and dense.
