About this listen

With his Full Figured series, Carl Weber brings together some of Urban Books' hottest authors to entertain listeners with their stories about the lives and loves of beautiful full-figured women.

When Desa Rae Jenkins ended her tumultuous relationship with Roc, it seemed like the appropriate thing to do; but now she's second-guessing her decision. Roc moved away to Kansas City, leaving street life back in St. Louis up to the brothas who can handle it. He continues to live his life on the edge, though, and when he returns to St. Louis, Desa Rae shows up at his doorstep to reconcile. Roc is reluctant to go there with the one woman who ripped his heart from his chest. He's determined not to let Desa Rae wiggle her way back in, but this full-sized diva is a heavy-hitter who won't give up without putting up a good fight. Win or lose, she refuses to back down, but with Roc's baby mama still in the way, there can be only one winner.

When Malika Williamson hired Travis Ingram, she never imagined that he'd be doing a lot more than just maintaining the company's computer system. Not only has he ignited a fire in Malika's heart, but his mere presence causes backstabbing, confusion, and sexual tension at the office. Malika finds herself transformed from upstanding and happily married to an oversexed, overheated adulteress. Will this full-figured beauty be able to control the passion that threatens to destroy everything she's worked so hard to achieve?

The series is Great! I really Live Des and Rock! They need a book of their own.

Ugh!

Okay I absolutely love the DesaRae & Roc story, HOWEVER the narrator is truly killing my vibe. Bring back Mishi LaChapelle(sorry if misspelled) she truly fit DesaRae voice wise..

Still struggling through the book😩

Travis oh boy

She made the right decision. Crossing those lines would have made her no better than Sarah crazy self. Stand on your convictions & life will reward you for it. Peace

5 stars for 1st story ONLY

I really enjoyed Brenda Hampton’s continuation of Desa Rae and Roc but the second story was all over the place. Some details were unnecessary or input into the book for no reason. It was kind of hard to follow. I got through it because I wanted to finish the story but I should’ve just ended it. If the 2nd story was not there I would’ve given this book 5 stars.

Just Okay

They could have skipped this book because both women in the stories were annoying. I kept trying to anticipate when it would get good, but I was disappointed. They were not bad, just not good either. Also, the second story was weird and confusing…. Initially, I thought she had a brain tumor or Travis was some kind of stalker… anything to make it more interesting, but nope… just weird!

Ugh

For the first story, the woman came in on my nerves, and it’s hard to root for her when she kept making bad decisions I wanted her to be smarter or maybe it seemed like she was smarter in the previous book. This was just bad. The second story I really enjoyed it a lot although there is a porta got annoying because I thought that somethings were real and then it’s not, but it was OK.

the performance was great

honestly I like the main character her personality her attributes but I honestly did not care for this story which is the first in this series it was an okay story but I feel that the story was dragged out and there wasn't really any excitement in the story it was kind of boring but I stayed committed and finished

Second story not so great

Thoroughly enjoyed the first story; second not so much. It felt like too much unrealistic repetition. Caught myself having to replay chapter because I became distracted doing other things and missed it completely

Mediocre Narrator

This narrator's hesitation and lack or emotion made it very difficult to enjoy this title.
