A Reese's Book Club x Hello Sunshine pick, November 2018

Okay y'all, it's spooky season, and my November Reese's Book Club X Hello Sunshine book pick—The Other Woman by Sandie Jones—has one of the most twisted and entertaining plots. When Emily meets Adam, she thinks she's found the one—but it's not long before another woman tries to ruin their relationship. And folks...that woman is HIS MOTHER. I can't wait for y'all to finish it because I NEED to discuss that ending with you! X Reese

The Reese Witherspoon X Hello Sunshine Book Club pick for November and USA Today best seller

The Other Woman by Sandie Jones is the most twisty, addictive, and binge-worthy debut audio thriller you'll hear this year.

He loves you: Adam adores Emily. Emily thinks Adam’s perfect, the man she thought she’d never meet.

But she loves you not: Lurking in the shadows is a rival, a woman who shares a deep bond with the man she loves.

And she'll stop at nothing: Emily chose Adam, but she didn’t choose his mother, Pammie. There’s nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her son, and now Emily is about to find out just how far Pammie will go to get what she wants: Emily gone forever.

The Other Woman will have you questioning her in every chapter.

This program includes a bonus conversation with the author.

Hated this book...but listened all the way through

I absolutely hated the main character of this book. I liked her at first but then she just got stupid and I found myself yelling at her during my commute to work. The story itself was okay but there were some errors - just stupid stuff that gets on my nerves. At the end there was a "twist" of sorts but it just did not hold up to logic.

Normally, my frustration level would have prevented me from listening all the way through because of how stupid and weak the author wrote the main character, Emily. And, then another major character ended up being equally as stupid towards the end. The only reason that I kept listening was the hope that Emily would turn things around and the narrator.

At the end, Emily did not turn anything around and kept making stupid, weak mistakes right up to the last chapter. Only saving grace was the narration...

Just one girl's opinion...not sure why everyone else loved this book so much.

I enjoyed this one to the very end!!

I just knew what was going on from the start and just wondered how Emily was going to do what she needed to do. Well, you will probably do the same. I hope you end up surprised like me when you see what happens in the end!! I am recommending this one for my next book club read!

After a slow start, such an intriguing story

The story starts off really slow, almost to the point that I was going to give up and stop reading. I'm so happy I didn't. The last half of the book was amazing, lots of twists and turns. It's rare for me to find a book that really takes me by surprise, but this one definitely did! Will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

Had me rolling my eyes at times

This story was entertaining enough to keep me listening to see what happens - but overall the storyline and ending were very blah.

Very predictable

First book by this writer. Did not really care for it. The story annoyed me. The narrator was okay for a British accent. Very underwhelming
