About this listen

This is a collection of poems, old and modern, by an assortment of Irish, Scottish, and Welsh poets. Many of the poems describe earlier culture and political concerns and many deal with love of the homeland. Some are by well-known poets, and some are by authors who have long faded into obscurity. Together they present a fascinating fabric of a rich culture.©2001 Sound Room Publishers, Inc. Classics Poetry

Celtic Poets (Unabridged)

This was the longest two hours of my life; it droned on and on. No matter where one clicked into this book the same pitch/tone was used. The name of the author was often not provided; did this mean it was anonymous? Judge for yourself but PLEASE listen before buying because it will be exactly the same from start to finish.

Any additional comments?

I chose this to hear Celtic poetry, I wished that they would have used more than one performer. This would have offered a more interesting listen.
