About this listen

Centauri Bliss, book 1:

Quinn doesn't have much to his name but a broken-down old freighter; even keeping it fueled is a constant struggle on the edges of civilized space where jobs are scarce and honest ones non-existent.

With the death of the Emperor civilized space begins to dissolve into squabbling factions fighting for control and beautiful new passengers aboard Quinn's ship all bring their own load of problems and opportunities.

Centauri Honor, book 2:

The Centauri Bliss has a new home on the edges of civilized space, eking out a living even as in the core the Imperium devolves quickly towards a civil war. When a job goes bad Quinn must work to keep his family same as dangers mount, even as an ancient magical threat is unleashed.

While working to stay alive and to keep the ship flying the Centauri continues to try to find a balance, and truly begins to discover its power with the combined set of talents each brings.

Warning: This book has explicit sex, nudity, murder, and a lot of crime. There is a harem, a hot alien, a cheerful robot, a kick-ass lawyer, a xeno-archaeologist in a snazzy hat. It's space fantasy and space opera, with a healthy dose of magic, and hard science doesn't apply - and a galactic threat is rising.

One of the most talented readers I’ve ever come across!

The amount of voices he was able to do without repeating is remarkable!! Absolutely Brilliant work David!!!

Good space cowboy series, similar to Firefly

This was a really fun series. It's a space western, and if you want accuracy in the outer space aspect it won't be for you. If you want a space cowboy gunslinger with some sex it's a fun ride.

I may reread it in the future.

loved every minute of it

I usually don't like harem types...but this book was good through and through...funny, serious, and great narration of all characters...i was so sad to get to the end..on to the next one for me.

Great Book! Funny!

NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT but I can just imagine the screaming women bitching about it. That alone makes me laugh and give this audio book an extra star. Well done!!!!

Solid story but MC i lacking competence

The story is surprisingly good but
if you're looking for detailed sex scenes this is not it, just enough to let you know it happened.
My only drawdown is that the main character is pretty much getting owned by every obstacle and in need of saving, it makes the side characters more involved which is nice, but it would be nice if the main character was a little more competent as the captain/leader of his crew/harem.

Fast paced space opera

Most harem stories are light on the story, heavy on the sex. This one has a fully fleshed-out story line, solid world-building, interesting characters .... and relatively tame and brief sex scenes.

yep, kinda firefly but more adult and more killing

really liked this one. firefly kinda, with a bit of sex and a lot more killing. the sex was pretty minor and was there a little for the sexy sexy value but also used to define characters and backstories but I could a done with a little less.
kept me interested and the characters were really good. it does seem that the firefly vibe was what the author was after but I don't care because it was well done.

Falls Off a Bit

Honestly, it's not a bad book. I went in expecting one thing and left having received another.
this is more of a space opera/adventure. the story of the harem/romance really falls by the wayside as the book goes on, until it's just a side note. I really don't understand why the centauri is even a part of this book.
but honestly, I have little to complain about. the book was a decent read that didn't break me out of its immersion like so many of this genre do.
