About this listen

How does a murderer redeem herself?

By going to another world to kill the same person again!

Bobbi Nox was notorious for committing a gruesome murder against a former employee; she was sentenced to rot in jail for the rest of her life. But in a divine twist of fate, Dike, the Goddess of Moral Justice, has come calling with an offer: become Dike's Champion of Justice.

The target?

None other than Markos Turloch, the person Bobbi had murdered!

To her astonishment, Markos had been reincarnated as a dungeon core and he conquered the Kingdom of Vessar. Blaming Markos for her incarceration, Bobbi agrees to help Dike free the kingdom from his tyranny! Endowed with several divine blessings from Dike, Bobbi is sent to the world of Enwald as a Paladin!

Finding herself in a game-like world, Bobbi must level up her character and become powerful enough to challenge Markos inside his dungeon. She must learn to work with the four female worshipers Dike has sent to accompany Bobbi on this holy quest. She must find a way to enter Markos' dungeons, reach his dungeon cores, and destroy them.

Will Bobbi Nox accomplish her mission to destroy Markos Turloch?

Or will he turn the tables and make her life miserable again?

The Ice Queen cometh!

I like the way the story unfolds. Way better than what I was thinking at the start.

New beginning for the core hero

The crime at the beginning of the previous book- which set the events of this book into motion is unforgivable in any way I can think of. It made it difficult to care about the well being of the MC. Half the book, I just wanted her to die horribly. But- if you can forgive, you should forgive. it clears the path into the future, and if the MC of the first book can forgive the MC of the second book, I’ll try to accept it.

As for the narrator- I can’t get tired of listening to her. That voice .. mmm

As with the first book, this one could also use more character development. If you have trouble remembering names, the characters easily blend together. No one seems to have a sense of humor- except the cheerleading fairy. A little more levity could give a great story a lot more depth.

very concerning romance

First, I would like to start off by saying that for the most part this book was rather good. I think the sires has promise. What I found concerning however is the parts were the main character was apparently falling in love with the very person that brutally murdered him! I found it rather distasteful and took me out of the story. It seems like the story is trying to redeem her when she does not deserve it. She seems almost as bad as she was in the first book and seems to lack any remorse for her actions. Her only redeeming quality is she is pretty. I find the massage this sends is concerning and rather than rooting for her redemption I find myself hoping she gets what she derives with the main character coming to his senses or it all being one elaborate trap for her. Other than that, I rather liked the story and am hoping for more soon.

SEX

if it had just been the intro that would be an annoyance but not significant but the whole book is a teenager's fantasy

I like dungeon books but this is more erotica than story

sex as a crutch not needed

yet again the author chooses to use sex as a crutch and to denigrate their work what's other authors they need to use sex or know how to bounce it out in that work not so with this author he needs to jettison the sex he needs 2 concentrate on the story because there is a great story through the two books so far and the sex just weakens the story there's too much in one place. not Enough in the other overall the tracks from the story this author doesn't understand he can compete with other authors in this genre from dungeon world to the Divine dungeon series he's just as good but as long as he keeps using sex as a crutch and doesn't know how to bounce it out he will never reach his full potential

(spoilers) i don't recommend.

i wasn't too happy withthe 1st book but i figured the story and the author had a chace to grow and improve so i was hoping for a continuation of Marcus' adventures see him solidify his power and spread his influence over the world. Instead what was delivered was the story of his killer becoming his wife... wtf bullshit is that!? the 2 books were more sex than story and honestly the game mechanics felt rather flimsy. ... its a shallow read. I'm not the hardest to please but this is a waste a time.

Constant Lesbian Sex Scenes

I enjoyed the first book in the series, so I bought the second book thinking ( wrongly ) that I'd be able to read/hear more about the dungeon progression.

Not so. Several hours in I've heard nothing about the dungeon. Instead I've heard 7 poorly described lesbian sex scenes. I've also heard the phrase "Bobby sucked her teeth" about 6 times so far in pointless places. I hope your preferred noun for describing a vagina is "her sex".

Do you enjoy dungeon litrpg? My recommendation based on my first few hours of this book is to stay away from this sequel.

The actual reading / performer of the book remains excellent, just the content is horrible in my opinion.
