About this listen

John Bishop isn't your typical single dad. Reserved, impatient, and utterly clueless.

Running the family's bed and breakfast has many perks. Working long hours, picking up after the guests, and hearing couples going at it all night long aren't any of them. Hooking up with girls who come to the ranch for horseback riding lessons? Best perk of them all.

That is until a baby shows up at his doorstep with a note claiming it's his. Leaving the bachelor life behind, his only priority is to hire a nanny who can teach him a thing or two about parenting - except he doesn't anticipate her being gorgeous and quirky with an unhealthy football obsession.

Mila Carmichael has many talents - making balloon animals, creating origami art, and remaining in the friend zone. Often seen as one of the guys, she's struck out more times than a rookie baseball player.

Seeking a new adventure, she flies to Texas to visit family and is offered a position she can't refuse. Helping out a new dad should come easy to her, considering her past experience, but what she doesn't anticipate is him being an attractive Southern temptation.

But that's only the beginning.

Contains mature themes.

Very nice

Very nice , well written story. I really felt like I was part of the story and part of the family too! There’s not much spice here though, which is the only reason I gave the story itself 3 stars. Otherwise this is a 5 star read.

Oh this was so sweet!!

I loved this couple! They were both so sweet and selfless. A single dad who needs a nanny and a woman who’s just out of college trying to figure out life!
John was exactly how a man would be with a baby. Clueless haha thank god he found a woman to help him and to fall for him.
I loved the whole family dynamic!
The voice actors were just perfect too!

A surprising good read/listen!

Narration was great; characters had depth; storyline was well thought out; characters were relatable and distinct; material held my interest (which says a lot because I am easily bored by the same old same old that several well-known authors put out book after book). This material was refreshing and original. And the sex was limited (at least in the story-telling). The author trusted me enough to envision the encounters the way I wanted. I wasn't spoon-fed erotica as many authors do. I've never read anything by this author previously, and I've never been a fan of "western" material, but I really enjoyed this on all levels. It's a unique story and I respected each of its characters. The only issue I had was how the baby was delivered to John. Really, I think that attorney could be disbarred for leaving a baby outside to be found. For god's sake, he's a lawyer and she was his client. Why would he not at least knock on the door and announce himself??? Again, that was the only issue I had. I enjoyed all the characters, and I may deviate from my rejection of reading all books in a series and read another one from this series. For me, the best way to read a book from a series is to NOT start with the first book. And I'm glad I didn't with this series. Kudos to the author for taking her time in developing the characters and the storyline. You're restoring my faith in fiction writers.

This story was fantastic! The story line was great and not as much spicy parts, which allowed more story to be told!

Another hit

I love this series and I cannot wait to listen to Jackson's story. It's funny how all three seemingly respectable boys are the one that ended up with babies first lol. Kennedy Fox another hit .

Chasing Him

Oh yes, another fantastic Kennedy Fox story. Can't wait for the next one in the Bishop Brothers series.

John, broody, quiet, new daddy, running the family's B&B, twin.
Mila, young, eager to start a new chapter in life, new nanny to John's daughter.

A funny, very entertaining story and highly recommended!

John and Mila

I am loving these Bishop Brothers. This is another fantastic addition to this already great series. Chasing Him is an emotionally endearing, heartfelt and sinfully addictive romance. John and Mila are absolutely adorable together. Their journey may have had some bumps in the road but their deep connection to one another held them together and their destination was simply perfect. I enjoyed this story. Narration was fabulous!
