In Power Thoughts, she outlines a flexible program to turn thoughts into habits, and habits into success. Nobody has more of a "can-do" attitude than Joyce Meyer. Now you can, too.

Story
In the hustle and bustle of today's busy world, sometimes it's hard enough to hear yourself think, much less take a minute to stop and listen for the voice of God. But learning to recognize God's voice and the many ways in which He speaks is vital for following His plan. This devotional shows the reader through a daily reminder, how God speaks through their own thoughts and feelings, their dreams, and the words of other people.

Very inspirational read!
I honestly wasn’t expecting to relate to this text as much as I did! It really made me rethink some points of my life and how I acted or could’ve reacted differently. For those not spiritual or religious, there are mentions of God and verses recited, but nothing overwhelming! Choosing your V is about recognizing your trauma and history of negative events in your life and choosing to be a victim of those events for too long .. or choosing to be a victor and overcoming that pain, hurt, and moving on. What I took from it is that moving on to the point where you’ve learned and can use those experiences to help/influence others to healing on their journeys too is a positive way to overcome those painful events, rather than reliving them, carrying them with you in a negative light, and wallowing in self pity and craving the attention and pity of others. This book/audible was insightful and I strongly recommend it to anyone! I’m a fairly positive and confident person based on my own sense of self - but there was a time where I couldn’t overcome hurt in the time I probably could’ve and spread that negativity onto others. I lost friends and loved ones because I couldn’t get past those events myself. This read made me put a label as to why, and what I probably could’ve done differently. Even if you already feel you are a happy and mentally healthy individual, this is enlightening to also recognize what others around you might need to hear too. Great job Kimberly Rand!
