A Wonderful Spiritually Inspirational Series

This two-book audiobook is well narrated professionally with a great tone that keeps the listener engaged throughout the storyline. The step-by-step instructions on actions to take in dealing with difficult people that are generally challenging or have mental health issues is clear and not overwhelming to follow. Overall, the takeaway is that there is a spiritual solution to every problem, whether it is an action to take, a verse, or a discussion from a Godly perspective.

It is believed that progressive sanctification gradually separates people of God from the world and makes them more like Christ. The believer is separated from negativity, resulting in obedience to the word. It is enlightening to see how these spiritual forces come together and complement being positive, which is also on a higher frequency level, unlike being negative on low-frequency levels. The author shows the listener where to give their energy and why it is crucial to living beyond merely existing. I recommend this audiobook for those seeking a balance of mind/body/spirit in life with biblical guidance and Godly focus.

Uplifting message

I am Catholic and I tend to be super careful in which Christin books I for reading or listen to. But this audiobook is very good since it's not really specific to any religion but in view of Christianity in general, which I liked. Sometimes I read/hear books that start attacking other beliefs instead of concentrating on the Lord’s message to be a better person in His image.

I like the portions where the narrator sings some phrases. It’s different from other audiobooks I have heard. The author includes supporting Scriptures in her message about mental illnesses and Christianity. I specifically liked Chapter 3: How can I be happy, here?

You can tell the author really researched the Bible for practical applications. What I liked the most about this book is that it positively applies the Word to practical life scenarios, emphasizing the importance of prayer. This is a very positive book that I really enjoyed. Very uplifting. I really recommend this audiobook.

Inspiring and Motivating

Erica Peninger says that God has a job for you. Her inspiring dialogue is interspersed with Biblical references, including many of my favorite psalms. She encourages Christians to go beyond the title and live their faith. Many examples of mental health challenges are given along with ideas and suggestions to help get out of your comfort zone and "zoom in on God" to clear out the fears and holdbacks that keep Christians from taking the next step. She recommends Christian music in your favorite genre to sooth the spirit and energize the body. She talks about reasons for frustrating relationships and asks, "What does the Bible say about that? The author talks more about mental illness in Chapter 6 and suggests that Christians fill their minds with good things instead of negative thoughts that bring them down. In Chapter 9, she discusses spiritual maturity and explains the concept of winning hearts for Jesus. Sanctification is another interesting topic, as it relates to the different steps Christians might take in their service to God. She advises the listener to cultivate their own relationship with God but cautions not to force it on others. A comforting thought from an earlier chapter is the reminder that God will never let you down. A heartening listen for those who wish to take their role as a Christian in this modern world to the next level. A lot to think about. I heartily recommend it.

Easy to follow

I love that this isn't a book that just throws scripture at people and doesn't explain anything. Some of it is paraphrased and provides insight into the reason for the scriptures listed. The book does have a bit of opinion but is presented in a non-judgmental way.
