Publisher's summary

A sweet holiday love story about the magic of synchronicity and fate set at a quaint Vermont inn during the week after Christmas.

Emma can’t believe her luck when she finds an open pawn shop on Christmas Eve in Manhattan. She’s there to sell the beautiful bracelet her ex-boyfriend gave her when a familiar looking watch catches her eye. It’s the same engraved watch she gave her college boyfriend, Fletcher, years ago. On a whim, she trades the bracelet for the watch and wonders at the timing.

Practical Emma thinks it’s just a coincidence, but her best friend Bronwyn believes it’s the magic of synchronicity that caused Emma to find the watch. Fletcher was the one that got away, and somehow Emma never quite moved on.

When Bronwyn finds out that Fletcher is in snowy Vermont at a romantic inn for the week, she can’t help but give synchronicity a push. She signs Emma up to help the inn keeper as the children’s activity coordinator. Emma agrees that a week filled with quaint shops and maple syrup would do her good...and maybe Fate really does have a Christmas gift in store for her. That is until she sees Fletcher with his daughter and fiancée.

Suddenly, the fairytale trip seems doomed to fail...much like the innkeeper’s dwindling cashflow. It will take a miracle to save her heart and the inn. And that just might be what Fate has in mind.

Christmas in Vermont is a delightful and charming love story about the magic of second chances during the most festive time of year.

REALLY ENJOYED

Lola was my favorite! She is very smart and rambunctious but very wise too to be so young. She is a good negotiator and has a lot more wisdom than the grown ups. 😊 I loved how Emma was very respectful of Fletcher's situation, but how serendipitous of them meeting again all due to a watch. A very good read.

A cute snuggle up read

Good descriptions. Didn’t like Megan and wished she left the story sooner. Didn’t like the way Emma kept lying to Lola by saying, “of course she likes you,” or I’m sure it meant nothing.” Someone be honest in this story. Still it was quaint and cute and made me want to go to Vermont

A Sweet Love Story

Loved the story, the characters, and the narrator. it was a little predictable but still a good storyline. You were rooting for Emma and Fletcher the whole time. And Lola is adorable.

Typical Hallmark movie

This is a typical Hallmark movie story. A bit too sweet but a good book to listen to when you don't want anything serious. just 3 stars because there wasn't a lot of depth to the story or characters.

Christmas in Vermont

I truly loved this audiobook. And now, I do believe in synchronicity! This was a wonderful, wonderful story. I loved that Brahman booked her vacation at Vermont. They have been together a long time, eleven years ago. I hope 🤞 he asked her to marry in the next audiobook.

It's a Hallmark Christmas movie in novel form

It's kind of a cute read, but there are a lot of little details that don't add up, which makes it frustrating. For example, the male character was in love with his college sweetheart, moved to her city after getting divorced, and never once even looked her up? But her friend was able to facebook stalk him in five minutes?

Also, the timeline is baffling. It's supposed to take place between Christmas Eve and New Year's. Lots of events happen "six days before New Year's Eve," which is Christmas day. But there's really no mention of Christmas day. Restaurants are open, people are out doing stuff, it all makes no sense.

Who would want either of them?

Ridiculous beta male who can't think for himself (must consult therapist or laughable "best friend" about EVERYTHING). And the "heroine" .... hops into a new man's bed every year for 364 days.🤦‍♀️
I could go on and on... but I've wasted enough time listening to this mess.
