Harper has a secret... and it's not that she likes girls. She has a rare talent: She can see how old other people will be when they die. Nothing she does changes this number, and that becomes especially clear when her mother dies in a car crash. With only one other person in the world who knows about and shares her gift, Harper is determined to keep her distance from everyone. Then she falls for Chloe… whose number is 16.
That means that Chloe doesn't have twelve months to live. She doesn't even have six. She is going to be dead by the end of the summer, unless Harper can find a way to stop it.

This is an interesting story of a girl who can see what age you will die. She has a hard time knowing, but she finds someone who can see the numbers just like she can. He is older and Harper’s father isn’t happy about that but she doesn’t feel that way about him. They’re truly friends and there for each other, because they both have had loss yes but it’s their shared knowledge of death that brings them closure together.
Then Harper meets a girl who she doesn’t see the number first, the attraction was palpable. Then she see her number and she doesn’t know how to deal.
But their connection can’t be denied. I loved this story I was rooting for them. That ending was well….. I won’t tell.
Great narration, seriously wonderful!!

* I would also like to note that the narration of this story was Spot. On. Job well done. I know I am not the only person who feels this way, which is why I am not afraid to say it... but phew, some people were note born to be narrators... and some, need to read what they're actually reading. But this... the narraration of this story kept it alive! It sounded as if I had been reading it along in my head. Thank you.
Ugh, such a beautiful story!
