I had no idea what to expect when I picked this up. I chose it for the narrator. This story is so funny and sexy. Corin is sooo grumpy and isolated because he gets cheated on and Aster is such a sweetheart carrying a heavy burden. They are so hot together and Corin is so sweet, yet so salty…like he’s super grumpy, but man does he love Aster.

I loved the story but it was too short. The narration was really good. The story had me wanting more adventures with the main characters. All around a good listen.

So I don't know how I bought this book and it sat on my To-read for like half a year? It has everything I want, and it made me aware of exactly what I like. I like dragons a whole damn lot. I usually like supernatural stories but I have yet to find a story over dragons that I didn't salivate over.

Next, I like a constant sexual energy. Because I am shameless perv, I don't read anything but gay stories with sex and this was explicit and plentiful as promised and in between the meager plot I got the idea that sex was soon on the horizon.

i like plots that are more emotional than windy- no mistake, I'll read a damn good plot, especially mystery, but I fall more easily for emotional conflict.

I love, love, love me a possessive, animalistic partner somewhere in the mix. Awful and toxic but the other partner is almost always super into it- and Aster is into iiit.

I love Greg Boudreaux, his delivery and intonation is everything. Perfect for a sexy, funny HEA. How I missed this I have no idea. So, this book had everything I could ever want. Can't wait for the next book and I'm already sad there's only one more.

Perfect amount of story and smut and the smut was magnificent. I love this author and this was another A+. I can’t wait for the next in the series !

The story was predictable with nearly every cliché, while being incredibly sweet and cute. It was definitely an enjoyable and even addicting listen. I can't wait to continue the series. I guess it's like the equivalent of a really good B-movie. The Narrator was wonderful too.

I didn't expect that many hours of spice but was pleasantly surprised. The sexual chemistry between these two characters is fantastic. I loved the plot and the ending too. I'm really hope there's a sequel to this with Jules.

With just the right amount of plot.

Although I found Corin’s ex-engagement story to be kind of weak I like that he was humbled (bittered) by the rejection (scandal).

I would have love to see Aster admit his true feelings sooner and have them navigate the line between love and duty rather than secret feelings and duty.

But overall I would give this book a 4.5/5
