After 10 years of blissful marriage, navy pilot Nate Chandler is divorcing his cheating husband. Single for the first time in years, Nate is numb to all emotion and kisses any chance of another relationship goodbye.
Not only is Nate struggling to get through this divorce, but his body is branded with a permanent reminder of his failed marriage: a matching tattoo with his ex. Searching for a place to cover up his old tattoo, Nate finds himself at the Skin Deep, Inc., where he meets the young and charming cover-up tattoo apprentice, Lucas Brandt.
From just flirty glances to steamy hot encounters, Nate and Lucas dive headfirst into a fling of hookups. But worried that he'll forever be Nate's "cover up" rebound relationship, Lucas fears that their love won't be anything more than just skin deep. What was once just a casual attraction, Lucas now hopes to turn into a real relationship. But will he be able to convince the still tender-hearted Nate to fall in love again?
Contains mature themes.

But what u really want to say is the ACCURACY of the Dover terminal was *chef’s kiss* perfect. The absolute truth in describing the miserable experience of Space A travel was so good I had to pause it because I was laughing so hard.
If you are a veteran or active duty, listen to this just so you can hear the perfect descriptions of the worst terminal I have ever flown in or out of.
This is a great read/listen

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Michael Ferraiuolo is one of the top 5 narrators for me, I can listen without break and have no problems to follow.
I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.
PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

Witt’s Stories are always well crafted. That said
90 percent of men who have sex with men are not bisexual. It’s just not reality. And men who are not bisexual are not always effeminate. So after reading about 15 books so far it gets less and less believable because of stereotypes. You don’t need to have screwed a woman to be masculine.
The narrator as narrator sounds like an Irish Catholic priest reading porn…odd accent. Like Nathan Lane in Jeffrey. And as Lucas. The accent goes from Bronks to Brooklyn to Jersey to Queens to Great Lakes in the same sentence. Just not believable. The generic masculine voices are more convincing. Okay. I’m a trained linguist so more picky.
Also love the books like. The road home. Where there is a good balance between plot romance story and sex. The series based in Okinawa where I was stationed was also well balanced and realistic. When the books get to be 80 prevent sex it just sounds cut and paste and change the characters names.
And all gay men do Not all wear boxer shorts. They’re for frat boys and nerdy straight men
All that said. I loved the anchor point series and the Two books based In Okinawa. And the road home. Honestly it’s the non sex scenes but plots that are most interesting. The sex scenes seem clearly the author’s personal taste and are virtually identical in every book. I usually have my thumb on the 30 seconds ahead going push push push push until the story comes back
