If you liked the other Agent Sayer Altair books, you'll probably like this one too. It has a really interesting ancient Egypt story line that I enjoyed. If you're looking for a good listen, nothing incredible, this is a good book for you. It felt like it was almost great but missing something. I can't quite put my finger on it though. The narrator is again the same, she's okay, nothing special but not the worst I've heard.

Absolutely amazing series, with this last book being my favorite. I usually save my audiobooks for driving, but I was so captivated by the story and by the characters that I found myself listening to this book any chance I got. Can not WAIT for what I hope is the continuation of the series.

I have read all three books in this series. I really have enjoyed each one, I feel like I know the main characters in each story. The storyline always has a twist to it, and keeps me guessing till the end.

I have binge listened to this series in the past week. Excellent characters, excellent plot. I like things like the CB Strike series by Robert Galbraith, Harry Bosch by Michael Connelly, and even Mare of East town...strong characters able to sustain an interesting plot. So I ask...next book?

The ending had me saying, “What?!” Can’t wait for the next book. There was a part in the book where it was obvious who the real suspect was and sayer was still left pondering it. That kind of bugged me.
