Publisher's summary

The days of being afraid of the walking dead are long since past. While they still prove to be a menace when they are found in massive herds numbering in the hundreds of thousands if not the millions, it is now the living that can be the most terrifying. Humanity is clawing to regain its place, and some will do anything to ensure their own survival...even at the cost of others.

The world is a wide-open place, and lawlessness abounds. The fate of civilization hangs in a delicate balance. With nobody looking over your shoulder, would you choose good...or evil? The choices made by a few could mean the end of hundreds of lives and reduce the chances that man will outlast the zombie in a world without order.

Using the dead as a weapon...??

So, in the past books, we found that the living are far more dangerous than the dead and now the living are using the dead as a weapon. Well, for some reason, I am not surprised that the human nature can be so evil. TW Brown is one of the most talented writers I have ever had the honor of reading.

Continues to deliver!

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

So, by this point in the series, it should be no surprise that Andrew McFerrin is awesome and TW Brown writes great zombie fiction. This is the second to last book and is as consistently good as the last 10. I'm just sad there is only one book left in this series. Oh well, bring on the last book!

still fighting....still surviving.... still addict

T W Brown's Dead: Blood and Betrayal is the eleventh book in a series about a zombie apocalypse and different perspectives. The action is still going... these survivors are still fighting... we've lost some we've found some new allies and foes... I am still addicted and cant wait to read more....

Narrator eally brought the characters' personalities out and the story came to life. Great job. Love it!

Where are you leading? i am following!

If you could sum up DEAD: Blood and Betrayal in three words, what would they be?

Death, Double-crossing, help!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Since my favorites mostly are with the Dearly Departed, i would have to say Talia is one of my favorites. She is at the stage of knowing enough to get out of some situations but not knowing quite enough to stay out of even more.

Which scene was your favorite?

i liked the whole rescuing Talia part. It showed her a whole new appreciation and understanding of her community and who she grew up thinking she knew

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The end of the book... how could you leave it hanging that way? lol!

Kate going a bit crazy made me feel sorry for her a little bit, but she has fallen out of my "good graces" with her stunts lately

Any additional comments?

Kate i feel is my getting to be my least favorite. I liked how she was with Kevin and how they balanced each other out, but now Kate is becoming more like the "leaders" i don't care for at all by walking into a place that is and has been working for years and years and not liking one thing so try to shake everything up.... in the past all this type of thing has done is bring on the downfall of that town or society, it has never improved or made it stronger... but i guess there could be a first for everything... Can't wait to read the next book and find out where this all leads...

Excellent book every zombie fan should read

Excellent story with a great performance. I was riveted and found longer ways to drive home so I could continue to listen.

A must read.

Hurried Deadline Miss it!!!!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes, to continue the story. That's it.

What could TW Brown have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Delay it one more month or whatever time it took to give a better story. It read like: I owe them a book, I have to get it done, here it is. Tell them know and wait. Eff what they, them, me, has to say about why it's taking so long for the next. Please...

Which character – as performed by Andrew McFerrin – was your favorite?

N/A

Could you see DEAD: Blood and Betrayal being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Efff no.

Any additional comments?

Tell the publishers to eff themselves. I would've have waited at least 2 more months for a better book. A lot of quick forced items. I know your better. P's back the eff off of TWB.
