Dance of the Winnebagos book one

Good mystery with action and adventure satire, dry humour, exaggerated drama, witty banter, and crotchety old men along with dead body and cat fighting women and corruption. The second book was terrible. Full of narcissism characters and not much else. My husband and I are highly disappointed in book 2 of this series and will not be purchasing any others because we do not enjoy being agitated and grinding my teeth and hoping it would get better. Not ❣️👍🏻book one 😤🤬😡😾😕💔😖 book two

Not Sure

I like the Deadwood series better. This one is okay but not my cup of tea.

Not what I expected

I was hoping for something similar to the 2 Deadwood series. This book had a bit too much romantic desires and just not as interesting. won't be wasting $$ on another book in this series.

Hilarious and captivating

The entire series! I could not stop reading them! The plot and story line keeps you guessing and trying to figure it out. The characters and dialogue are witty and I was laughing out loud so much.

Fun-fun

Loved the Deadwood series and Coffin series. Jack Rabbit is no disappointment! Can’t wait to read more!

Another fun Ann Charles series

Amazing narration with no trouble discerning characters. Just another fun and funny book with a good mystery and great characters.

Good book, poor performance

I have enjoyed all of this author’s series thus far; however, the narration is tough to get past. Mispronounced words and improper inflection made me feel like Edward Scissorhands trying to write in a chalkboard. It sounded like the narrator was missing her former life as a bad newscaster. I’m sure I’ll trudge through the rest of the series and hope she has relaxed as time passed. The stories are too good to skip.

Love the story but narration is terrible

I really like this series but the narrator is awful. Caroline Schaffer’s narration of the deadwood series was fantastic! The different voices she does for each character allows me to know who is speaking. With this series, I never know which person is speaking and it just goes on and on in monotone. I love the story and characters though.
