Excellent series beginning. Betrayal, adventure, revenge, space, all wrapped up in one back on a futuristic Atlantics.

Wonderful beginning to a new series..

Another good story by Michael Anderle. There was really weird creatures, including the Nightmutts, yucky characters for sure. But the Cresent-Kissed were the best, the way they took care of the MC, Dante Shale, when he was injured helping the Cresents.

There could be some romance since Nasreen, the pilot who helped him kill all the pirates and flew away from the deadly planet, showed up. AND the F-bomb was used 36 times.

As for the narration: Michael Braun's voices were perfect and his emotions were great, too.

Enjoyable Beginning

Two components are necessary to an enjoyable listening experience: A good story and talented narrator. Both of these components were supplied. The narrator was able to bring a wide range of characters to life; easily altering between the voices in a way that brought the story to life.
The story, is one, which alternates between two central characters within two different backdrops. One is Earth, now destroyed and inhabited by strange mutant beasts and those who brave the difficult environment, called dirt-siders. Above earth is another, more modern, city. It is a city encased, yet hanging in outer space. All of life’s modern conveniences are afforded to those who have power, and money, to pay for what they want. It is a sharp contrast to those who dwell below. The Imagery of these very different backgrounds adds to the storyline. Hopefully, the next stories, continue to build on the scenery and time lines that the author is weaving together.

This listener has already added the remainder of the series to the library section. Can’t wait to see where the author takes the story.
BONUS:, right now, all of the series is included with audible membership!
Thank you, Michael Andersen!
