About this listen

Time is a very fluid thing, no one really has a grasp on it other than maybe how to measure it. As the maestro of the Day by Day Armageddon Universe, I have the latitude of being in control of that time. I can adjust the slider either direction, moving the timeline back and forth along the continuum. This is one of the perks of creation, the benefit in constructing something (albeit small) from nothing. Sort of makes you wonder what the maestro of the universe is up to, no? You have again stumbled upon a ticket with service through the apocalyptic wastes, but this time the train is a little bit older, a little more beat up, and maybe a little wiser. Keep your doors locked.

I enjoyed the story enough, but it was soo short, a bit difficult to follow.

Short, and feels a bit rushed

I was avoiding listening to this last part of the series because I was afraid it would ruin it for me. I really enjoyed it and I think it concludes his story well. I wish it was longer but it is what it is.

Glad I finally finished the series

As the headline said, I think it was hardly enough of a good thing for the story continuation, but what there is, is good. Definitely worth checking out if you've read the other Day by Days.

Great continuation, just hardly enough

quick shot of Day by Day Armageddon drama, this is a great option. It comes in the form of an engaging short story about our hero facing new challenges from deadly forces in a hostile environment comparable in intensity to past exploits. I thought there was a better ratio of more human to monster drama than most stories of this genre.

A flash forward into the universe of DBDA. It' will be interesting to see if J.L. Bourne will continue his saga bridging the time between Shattered Hourglass and this new installment. Thumbs up J.L.! As always the narrator does an excellent job of keeping the listeners on the edge of their seats.

A new world of possibilities for DBDA stories

Was holding off on listening to this because it was so short but I missed DBDA so much that I just had to get a fix. Mr Bourne needs to write another book soon!

Awesome short story in the DBDA universe!

Its always this, a series finishes and you think "What will happen now??". Well, this book is the answer for that question. It showed life afterwards, and how people are living and developing... it was very satisfying to listen to and i'm quite happy with the ending here.

Just What I Wanted To Know!!!

That dumb name the author gave the protagonist "Kill" still ruffles my feathers's.
Really why?
So freaking lazy!
Everything else 99%... besides in book 2 where the Lance Cpl. Is cool with being called cpl.
Needs to do a Little more research on military traditions and customs before putting pen to paper.

Still irks me.

This was a good side-story to the series. It was similar to the original novel, just Kilroy on his own, having an 'adventure' in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.

Short, sweet and enjoyable.
