so excited to have found your books! ( audiobooks) I absolutely love them. Hollie Jackson is a great narrator and really brings out the characters! I love Kyra and her Love of All creatures and her fierceness! I adore Jacoby and all the "critters" . Mason is a mysterious hunk I can't wait to read more about there story together!

I enjoyed the book. I do find the main character, considering she is almost 80 years old, to be a bit of a Mary Sue. She was trained as a Valkyrie and has been around for 80 years, but yet still makes mistakes I would expect from a person in their 20s.

I love Kim's style if writing. between her plot and the creatures she's dreamed up, I'm hooked. in the first book in the series I got very attached to some of the critter characters and for various reasons, that I won't spoil. we don't get to interact with some of those critters in this book. there is however a new critter introduced who I adore. his intelligence and loyalty/concern for the other critters in Kara's care is making him a quick favorite.

Because of my busy schedule, it's harder for me to sit down and read a book, and inofteh listen to audiobooks instead. hollie is one of my favorite narrators, and she did an absolutely amazing job with character voices for this series. I love jacoby's voice, and while I wasn't expecting the voice she chose for Mason, it fits him well.

I have all of this series in Kindle, and am working my way thru the series again in audible. it's so good I might start adding the hardback to my bookcases as well.

I would rackamind this story to others It so difficult the way it plays out then spin out of control. I don't like a lot of blood and gus though.

I did like all of it the story line too but sometimes it bost back to soon and I couldn't understand what happened
