About this listen

For urban-legend hunter and television host Gabe Powers, it’s business - investigate the most notorious haunted places in Savannah. Then he meets his new sound engineer, a dewy Georgia peach who may just turn this gig into (im)pure pleasure. All it takes is one night for them to conjure floor-rattling, wall-banging moans…but they’re not from the ghosts.

Blame the rippling abs, the cocky swagger, the granite jawline, the whole muscle-bulging package, but Gabe is bringing out good-girl Lily Jameson’s dirty side. Damn her code-of-conduct contract - this isn’t just a molten-hot fling.

There’s just one kink in the relationship they’ve been avoiding: soon they’ll be going their separate ways. Lily’s home is in Savannah, and Gabe is a globe-trotter at heart. For them to be together, they’ll both have to upend their so-very-different worlds and face their fears in the process. And suddenly things don’t feel so Georgia peachy keen at all.

Nicola never disappoints me so this book rates a 10+.

Gabe stole my heart and Lily lost here to him. Sexy with the most engaging story to pull us in. Her writing amazes me as she makes me giggle, swine and dream along with her character development.

Do You Feel It Too?

I enjoyed this one so much I grabbed it up and listened to it in audio. Gabe is a television personality in Savannah to record an episode of his series when he spies a woman at the fireworks and has to meet her. The meeting is the perfect meet-cute with him getting hit in the face with her equipment but Lillie Jameson makes up for it. These two have instant chemistry and it continues to grow, even when Gabe's producer contacts Lillie out of the blue to get her on contract as the sound person for the show. How is that going to work when they obviously have feelings? Add in the crazy family with the sister and precious toddler and don't forget the parrot, The General, who has the biggest personality of all and who can not only mimic but has an answer to everything. This story just kept building and I didn't want it to end. Perfection and a high recommendation from me.

Good story. Horrible male voice

This book was a good to listen to. The story was entertaining. A departure from my normal high drama and suspense. I loved the bits of humor scattered throughout. My chief complaint is the male voice. He needed to sound more manly. He did a terrible female voice. It was almost difficult to get past.

Ghost hunting with romance

I love when audios are included with Kindle Unlimited, it really gives me a chance to find new authors and narrators! Do You Feel it Too? was a cute romance story, but nothing that really hooked me. I loved how Gabe and Lily met, it was funny and innocent at the same time. I started off really interested, the characters were entertaining and the story line was good but then it just kind of sizzled out for me. There weren't any struggles or drama throughout the book, the only thing they faced was at the very end which made the book drag in the middle for me. With the book being so focused on the stories of all the famous hauntings in Savannah, I was hoping more paranormal would have been added throughout the story. I will say that my absolute favorite interactions were with the General. I love it when the animals of the book add so much fun and comedy!

This was my first time hearing Rock Engle and I am a little torn on him. There were times his voice was perfect for the character, but then other times when he made me cringe (more for the female voices). CJ Bloom does a great job as always!

Happiness here ❤️🦜🦜🦜

If you are looking for a low angst, rom-com, insta-love book, with lots of sexy times, this is your book. I mostly listened to it using kindle unlimited whyspersync. The narration was ok, nothing fabulous and nothing bad. It was 10 plus hours of following the couple around - normally I would love - maybe I wasn’t in the mood? But it took me several days to finish it. I actually read two books in between - which I don’t normally do. I found myself just waiting to see what was going to go wrong. ……maybe a spoiler ahead - however I would have liked to had know ahead of time and I think o would have enjoyed it more but …..

The angst doesn’t come until really close to the end and it’s very short lived. Sit back and enjoy the happiness!

Unique, Fun, Sweet and Sexy!

Narrated by CJ Bloom and Rock Engle
Romantic Comedy Standalone

Shimmy Bang Sparkle by Nicola Rendell was a top favorite for the year so I couldn’t wait to read Do You Feel It Too? and I wasn’t disappointed! Another unique and sexy premise, it was a refreshing change from all the same tropes I’ve been reading over and over. From the adorable meet-cute to the epilogue, I enjoyed this charming, sexy and quirky read.

“I believed, in my gut, that there was one woman out there for me. The one who would make me crazy with need. The one who made the world make sense. The one who would make me whole. Finding that woman, if she existed at all, was proving harder than tracking down all the urban legends put together.”

Gabe is a globe-trotting TV host of a ghost hunting/myth buster type show. He travels around the world investigating different legends and shoots his show himself. He is in Savannah ghost-hunting when he has an adorable meet-cute with Lily, a sound engineer working in the park that night.

“I’d spent my whole career avoiding dangerous situations. I get within ten feet of Lily and it’s one disaster after another. She was like the Bermuda Triangle.”

Lily’s Savannah sound company is struggling, so when she gets a call to be a sound tech for a popular TV show, she couldn’t believe her luck. When it turned out to be the hot guy she met in the park, her luck was even better, except for the pesky no-fraternization clause in her contract.

“I want to take you. Right here, right now.”
My breath came out as a shudder. If he came at me again, I was going to crack like an overstuffed taco shell. Just one more scoop of Gabe and I was a goner. “Noted,” I whispered.
He hooked my chin with his brawny finger and made me raise my eyes to his. “But instead I’ll get us out of here, take you to dinner, and pretend like [effing] you hasn’t been the only item on the agenda since you nearly knocked me out. We clear?”

This was absolutely a whirlwind of insta-love, but it WORKED. No doubt about it, you can feel this couple’s electric connection. It was romantic, it was funny, it was super sexy (with a little kink), and there was banter. It’s everything I love in a story.

"You deserve to be loved senseless, Lily. And I want to be the man to give you that. I never knew what I wanted. And then I met you."

Likes:
•Unique premise.
•I loved how they met. (The “Meet Cute”)
•Hot dirty talker.
•I loved Lily so much! She was witty and awkward and fun.
•The parrot who almost stole the show.
•They are a bit older, mid and upper thirties.
•The fact that Lily was not a virgin and had been with other men.
•I laughed, I sighed, I swooned.
•Very sexy with some mild kink.

Dislikes:
•There would have been great opportunity to add a little paranormal to the plot.
•The issues that they had were a bit too easily recovered from.

The Narration:
I love CJ Bloom, she is one of my favorite narrators and she did a great job. Rock Engle is a wonderful narrator with good timing, but I just don’t find him to be sexy and I think perhaps another narrator would have brought the whole story up another half star for me.

The Down & Dirty:
I loved Do You Feel It Too by Nicole Rendell. Her audiobooks will now be an auto-purchase for me. This was the perfect mix of fun, sweet, sexy, romantic and unique. The male narrator wasn’t my favorite, and I think that may have taken away from the book a little bit for me. I loved the very unique storyline and absolutely loved Lily. If anything, it’s worth the read just for the parrot!

Rating: 4.25 - 4.5 Stars, 4.5 Heat, 4 Narration

Lighthearted and Sweet

Do You Feel It Too? was such a lighthearted, sweet, and sexy read. I have how lighthearted her books are and they are quite funny to boot. What I liked about this book was the hero's job is his job. I mean who comes up with a character who's job is a ghost hunter who visits haunted places. How awesome. Anyways this book started off really god and Gabe was exploring some hauntings and meets Lily. Their relationship was so cute and hot as hell. I was so into their relationship and the writing was on point. But somewhere in there I kinda lost interest in this one. They both fell in love too fast for me and I wanted Gabe to be doing more ghost hunting with Lily.

CJ Bloom was really enjoyable to listen to. I'm not entirely sure how I felt about Rock Engle. I didn't dislike his voice, but I didn't quite love it for this character either. There were times when I thought his voice fit the character and others where I didn't think it was a good fit at all. So I'm indecisive on that front. Luckily, CJ Bloom was good and I really liked her.

The writing is still great and I love Nicola's writing, but this one is okay. I still mostly enjoyed it and really liked the characters, I just didn't get into it as much as I thought I would.

Fun couple!!!

What a really cute couple! This was a fun and light story with very, likable characters and a funny parrot. I borrowed the audiobook on KU and really enjoyed CJ Bloom and Rock Engle’s performance. Special mention of Cj’s voice because it was so cute and fit what I envisioned for the heroine perfectly.

4 stars

This one was a bit different. I was glad for a storyline change. I just think it could have been shortened just a tiny bit.
