About this listen

The fiery new romance from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author L.A. Casey - can Noah unlock her memories...and find true love?

When Noah Ainsley wakes up in a hospital room with no recollection of how she got there, all she knows is that she needs to see Elliot, the love of her life. Then she learns the horrifying truth: her short-term memory has been destroyed by a car accident. She and Elliot broke up five years ago. And now she's married to Anderson, a man she doesn’t even recognize.

In an instant Noah’s world is turned on its head. All she wants is Elliot by her side, but it’s clear Anderson is hurt by her rejection. Can she really have fallen in love with this stranger? Nothing makes sense - and when even Elliot refuses to answer her questions, Noah is left feeling all alone.

But as her memories slowly return, Noah begins to wonder if she’s been wrong to shut Anderson out - and wrong to put all her trust in Elliot. The ex she loves and the husband she doesn’t remember hold the keys to her past. And when the truth is finally revealed, which future will Noah’s heart choose?

Good.

This was a crazy read. Predictable, but still entertaining. I enjoyed it and liked the characters. Great escape from reality for a while!

Was a good listen

First book I've read from this author. It was kind of predictable, but well written enough, and a sweet story, so I didn't mind. I'll read others from this author.

Wonderfully Sweet

This was a wonderfully sweet yet a little sinister story that should be made into a romance movie. I held in my library for quite while and glad I finally listened to it.

A little sluggish

LA Casey novels are generally heavy - lots of angst, full of the heaviest drama of life - but usually quite interesting. This book was interesting but is it possible for there to be too much description? Apparently, yes. This is the downside of listening as opposed to reading; you're forced to listen for 5 minutes about why Noah wanted to go out, with such riveting details as picking up her phone, putting on her coat, stepping into the hall, breathing (seriously?!) and such. some things don't need describing in such minutia and this book had entirely too much minutia. The story was genuinely interesting and the narration was excellent so I don't regret the listen. in the end, this would've been better reading than listening because sometimes ut'a more enjoyable to skim or skip the dull parts.

Forgetting You

I loved this book, it was intense and engaging I couldn’t stop listening.
Noah is in a horrible accident and the doctor doesn’t want her to know too much because what she remembers isn’t the present and when she tries to it only hurts her.

So her family and friends do as the doctor says but when weeks go by and she wants no needs to know more it’s not easy to give the truth. Because the truth hurts in more ways than one.

I don’t know that I agree with some of it, because it felt too cookie cutter for some parts but I didn’t really care I just enjoyed the book.

Fantastic book. LOVED the narration I will be looking for more books with these narrators.

Elliot and Noah

A heartbreakingly emotional, captivating and intense journey to go on with Noah and Elliot. My heart broke for Elliot and his family and of course for Noah when she figured out everything. This story has the perfect amount of suspense, passion, twist- turns, ups and downs. I absolutely enjoyed going on this mysterious ride. Great story!
Narration is perfection!
