Jeffery Deaver is an international number-one bestselling author. His books are sold in 150 countries and have been translated into 25 languages. Great Story by Jeffery Deaver. This series is becoming addicting, I am now onto book 3. The characters and story line are amazing. There are a few good twists, the Marshall was kind of predictable, but the others were good. Christina did a fine job narrating. Recommended if you like a good short story.

This book is like the heroine…short but packs a wallop!! It starts in a seedy bar, where Constant, love her name btw, is searching for a certain man…and where she kicks the snot out of a bodyguard!! Booyah!! Then we hear that she’s an assassin…I’m still cheering for her. But sometimes you have to dig deeply to get to the truth and when you get there…wow! Loved this fast paced book and wish I good get more Constant!

Interesting story. Narrator was annoying - voice too strident and had to keep it loud as she would drop to a more modulated one when speaking as any of the people

This collection is proving to be better than I thought. I like how the author connected them, but also left each available to be a stand alone.

Outstanding concept for a series of short novels! Number one and two are an excellent blend but don’t feel like carbon copies. Different flavors and emphasis but weaving together an engaging, intelligent suspense story with plenty of psychological interplay and deeply engaging characters. Can’t wait for the next one!
