Story
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

Narrator Dan Stevens ( Downton Abbey) presents an uncanny performance of Mary Shelley's timeless gothic novel, an epic battle between man and monster at its greatest literary pitch. In trying to create life, the young student Victor Frankenstein unleashes forces beyond his control, setting into motion a long and tragic chain of events that brings Victor to the very brink of madness. How he tries to destroy his creation, as it destroys everything Victor loves, is a powerful story of love, friendship, scientific hubris, and horror.

Book club pick, Great Narrator
our group picked dracula for spooky season and a few of us did the audiobook. everyone agreed this one had the best narration. emma bronks keeps it serious without being dull. the story itself is a bit long but her pacing helps a lot. great choice if you want the classic in a format that doesn’t drag.

Had no idea it was this good
i thought dracula was gonna be cheesy or outdated but it’s actually super atmospheric and kinda intense. the way it’s told through journal entries makes it feel real. emma bronks adds this eerie calm to it, like you know something’s coming but can’t look away. really glad i gave it a shot.

Classic for a reason
finally decided to listen instead of trying to read it (been on my list for years). totally worth it. emma bronks made it so much more enjoyable. she’s got this clean, almost haunting delivery that works perfectly. if you’re curious about the book but afraid it’s too dense, don’t worry. this version is smooth.

A Classic Brilliantly Narrated
I’ve read Dracula before, but hearing it narrated by Emma Bronks brought a whole new depth to the experience. Her voice perfectly captures the slow-building dread and elegance of the prose. The epistolary format, which can be confusing in print, flows beautifully in audio form. This is the definitive version I’ll recommend to others.

Narrator nailed the tone
not everyone can do horror well without overacting but emma bronks gets it. she keeps things chill and lets the tension build naturally. you feel the dread slowly creep in. this isn’t hollywood horror it’s old-school psychological fear. really enjoyed it.

A Classic that still holds up
you expect it to be outdated but it’s honestly still creepy and kind of brilliant. the pacing, the mystery, the way it all builds it’s intense in a quiet way. emma bronks gives it just the right vibe: elegant but cold when it needs to be. super glad i listened instead of reading it.
