About this listen

In a story brimming with sizzling heat and untold mysteries, New York Times bestselling author Donna Grant brings together a devilishly handsome Dragon King and a woman who dares to challenge him.

He’s never been tempted...until her.

Sexy. Mysterious. Dangerous. He’s an immortal Dragon King bound by ancient rules and eternal magic. Cullen has one objective: find and destroy the evil that threatens the new home of the dragons. Just when he’s closing in, he’s ambushed and finds a stunning warrior woman fighting alongside him. No amount of magic could prepare him for the beguiling lass who spurns his advances and defies him.

From the moment Tamlyn takes a stand against her kind, she’s had to fight one perilous battle after another. Staying alive in an endless struggle, and the lines between good and evil are blurred with every encounter. She’s always stood alone - until she comes to the aid of an irresistibly handsome stranger. Cullen will force her to face truths she’s been running from...even as enemies plot to destroy them both.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

I love this book 📖!

omg this book is amazing 👏! 👏. As always Donna grant can't keep on surprising us 😍 ❤. I love the relationship between Cullen and Tamlyn they are perfect for each other. I am actually happy to see that are many types of people in their. I hope they will find this new enemy before it did a lot of damage. I wonder if Cullen will one day want to bring her in his real and live their. That will be nice. I love this book 📖! I can't wait for the next one 😍!

Excellent book & spin-off series

Loved these two characters & her friends as well. They both have soft hearts toward children. Hope we find they adopt some when the series continues. Great narration by Antony Ferguson & Keira Stevens, just rather have a single narrator unless it’s dual narration. Can’t wait for more of the Kings.

Another great story..

Loved Cullen and Tamlyn.. She was a hero who saved children who were to be sacrificed and he met her and fell in love. Together they worked together against the priests that sacrificed the children while looking for someone who was trying to kill the dragons.

There was explicit sex in this book and the F-bomb was used 8 times.

As for the narration: Antony Ferguson is always JUST alright for me BUT Keira Stevens was worse. She did okay with the male voices but she hesitated at all the wrong places, making the story ridiculous when it was her turn to read. Having a male and female narrator is so stupid, having the hero and heroine's voices change constantly can get so depressing for a reader.
Just sayin'

You My Dragon

So much packed into this novella; passion, action, danger, tears, laughter and an “awwww” moment.  Donna continues with giving us riveting characters set in amazing worlds.  Tamlyn is another strong, female character.  She is a warrior and a Banshee.  Cullen is a Dragon King who is a guest on the world of Zora, brought there to face a mysterious and deadly foe.  Although Tamlyn is used to fighting alone, she lets Cullen into her fight and into her heart.  Beautifully narrated by Antony Ferguson, (as always) and we get the female voice narrated by Keira Stevens. We get to catch up with beloved characters and are introduced to new ones. So poignant, this couple and this new realm have much to face before achieving their HEA.  SERIOUSLY heart-tugging, I actually felt a physical ache in my chest.  (The author is forgiven!)  My only complaint is that I wanted at least a hundred more pages, but that’s nothing new with Donna’s stories.
This novel can be a stand-alone, though you won’t have the history that led the Dragon Kings to this point.  But you can always go back and catch up!

Don’t miss this novella!

If you are following the new Dragon Kings series by Donna Grant you don’t want to miss this 1001 Dark Nights novella. This is Cullen’s story about how he meets Tamlyn, a Banshee living in Zora, the realm where the dragons are living. This story may be shorter but it is pivotal in the continuation of the stories started in this new spinoff series from the original Dark Kings series. This is the first book in the series to be recorded in dual narration with Keira Stevens joining Antony Ferguson. Antony was outstanding as usual and I don’t think it could ever be as good without him. Keira did a great job with the accents and was a pleasant surprise.

What a ride

Dragon Unbound is the third book in the spin-off series—Dragon Kings. It takes place on Zora the dragon homeworld. Cullen is patrolling the border between human and dragon land, when he comes across a woman on the run from Stonemore soldiers is world will never be the same. When it is revealed, what Tamlyn is, it ponders bigger questions who and what are the humanoids on Zora are and who brought them there. As this a novella, and we are not far into this spin off, it is looking like it will be a glorious ride.

Sudden end

It felt jagged rushed and unfinished in places like the editor just chopped out parts to appease the word count then it just stopped like in the middle of a thought. I’ve read all the series so far so could follow along but if this were my introduction to the series I would have stopped reading and shrugged it off as another great potential story goin nowhere saying this please don’t stop at this book go to the start ofdragon king books they are well worth the read

story great but...

the story was a good one but I was so close to dumping it so many times. the female narrator definitely dragged it on. no personality in the voices. Antony never misses the mark. maybe if she weren't paired with him .... just not my fav!
