About this listen
Jakkin, a 15-year-old bond boy, works with many others in Sarkkhan's worm farm/nursery on the desert planet Austar IV. Jakkin plans to steal a baby dragon from the farm to raise, hoping to train the dragon to fight and earn him enough money to buy himself out of bond, as well as the dragon's freedom.
Eventually, with the help of Akki, a girl at the nursery, he succeeds and names his dragon Heart's Blood. After a year of training and growing, Akki arranges a way for Jakkin and his beautiful red dragon to engage in their first battle.

Aram thinks he’s nothing but a misfit from a small fishing village in a dark corner of the world. As far as Aram knows, he has nothing, with hardly a possession to his name other than a desire to make friends and be accepted by those around him, which is something he’s never known. But Aram is more. Much, much more. Unknown to him, Aram bears within him a gift so old and rare that many people would kill him for it, and there are others who would twist him to use for their own sinister purposes.

One of the first books I ever read
I found this book when I was a freshman in high school over 30 years ago. At the time I found the 2 others and really enjoyed them. Over the years I tried from time to time to find the books again and I could only find the first 2 to add to my collection. On a whim, I checked Audible and found there was a 4th book!!! I can't wait to go through all of them again. It has been over 20 years since I read them and want to enjoy the FULL story this time from start to finish.

Dragon's Blood (Pit Dragon Chronicles
This was one of those kindle books that come with a free audible. The narration was great with each voice distinct amazing for a woman. And this is a Dragon tale off the beaten path. A former penal colony where dragons were natural to the planet.
Also a coming of age too. A fast read, if you have KU notice that the little headphones grove on over to Amazon.
