About this listen

Blair Mallory, last seen in To Die For, has already survived one murder attempt. Now, while planning her wedding and dealing with holiday-season madness, Blair once again dodges a bullet. Or, more precisely, a Buick. And, though the driver's identity remains a mystery, his or her murderous intentions are all too clear.

Or are they? After all, Blair's homicidal ex-husband and his partner-in-crime/wife are safely behind bars. And even Wyatt Bloodsworth, Blair's police detective groom-to-be, isn't inclined to believe she's being targeted again. All of which makes Blair wonder if her close call was simply a mishap.

But the wondering stops when she narrowly cheats death again in another seemingly innocent accident. Two strikes is all it takes to convince Blair that she's back in someone's crosshairs. And the only thing more frightening is that Wyatt still doubts her. That means this time no one will be watching Blair's back when she sets out to get the drop on her would-be killer - before whoever it is finally drops her.

This is the 2nd time I've listened to the book. I Lol and pretty much kept a smile on my face . I've really enjoyed it . I kinda wish Ms Howard would do another book about Blair Malory. NO spoiler alerts from my review. This was a very good romantic suspense written book. Don't forget to read/listen to the first book of this series "To Die For". I've enjoyed listening to both narrators from each book.

what a great sequel. Great characters and story. It took a few chapters to adjust to the new narrator but it was worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed both books but drop dead gorgeous is a favorite.

What made the experience of listening to Drop Dead Gorgeous the most enjoyable?

Loved the narrator and I loved the adventures of Blair and Wyatt.

What did you like best about this story?

Great sequel to To Die For. Great opportunity to see the next chapter of Blair and Wyatt. Would love it if Ms. Howard would do a sequel about Blair's sister the attorney. Would also love a prequel about Blair's mom.
This was a funny romp and light hearted romance. Laughed out loud at various times during this book. Years ago I read the print version, loved that this is now in audio.

What about Joyce Bean’s performance did you like?

Good accents without being over the top. A narrator can make or ruin a book. Joyce Bean is skilled and does a good job with both men and women.

Laugh out loud

I love this story. So funny. The Blair character is true to form, crazy, clever, funny, manipulative, just a lovely woman. And we all love her for it. She keeps us on our toes, let alone her man. He has stay on his toes just to make sure she doesn't win. She apparently thinks of all these as wins or loses. She doesn't want to loose too often. She is fine with loosing every once in a while but she doesn't want to always loose. And who wouldn't. She is so my favorite character. I love her. Linda Howard did great writing this book and character. I would like more of these.

Much better Narration. The story is amazing.
