About this listen

Druid Wanted: No Experience Necessary

The Valley of Nymis needs a druid.

A distant, magical land is sick and dying. The corruption has spread to the beastfolk, and the elves have taken to worshipping a god of darkness.

They need a druid. I need a job, and working outdoors sounds appealing. What they didn't tell me is that every other druid is now worm food.

Guided by the attractive Kiyomi (a kitsune) I must reach the Heart of the Forest while learning what it means to be a druid and learning to cultivate, traveling through wilderness full of hostile beastfolk, goblins, harpies, and other demons, all while being pursued by elf occultists. At least I've got a job, right?

Druid Wanted is a Haremlit Cultivation Dark Fantasy.

pretty obvious that the book was read by an AI and no one had listened through prior to release to make sure that everything sounds good. Not terrible, but every so often a word gets mispronounced. Intonation also gets lost, which breaks the feel of the story as opposed to someone reading it. However, it is a free audiobook, the story is pretty good, characters are generally likeable, and the story does generally flow.

An ok start

I enjoyed the story, loved the idea behind it..I had to major complaints. #1 Ai sucks at reading, and if your not paying an actual artist or two, then why can't you have multiple voices. #2 The story was great though I feel some of it was sped up and could have used more exposition or drawn out his training, but what is with the intimate scenes. I felt like I went from a good story to something written on ai, and it was like hitting the brakes on a car full stop.

not bad, but the audio makes it not quite good either.

This could be a good story but the computer narration tells the battle scenes with the same inflection as the passive scenes. Makes the story flat and boring

poor narration good story

Cool idea and an interesting take. Someone needs to work on the virtual voice. It was just horrible. A human knows how to pause when needed as well as pronouncing words that the computer just makes me cringe.

Good story. Virtual voice bad!

Terribly bad narration, I will avoid purchasing any audiobooks narrated this way if you’re going to use artificial narration, then artificially read every character with different voices

There is more to reading a book, then reading it

I enjoyed the story. I would like to hear the rest of the story.
Can’t get passed the narration. There was no passion in the reading.

Narration was cold and bland.
