Not the best but good

I’m a big rangers apprentice fan. I started listening when I was probably 14 or 15. These books got me through some tough times. With every new book that comes out feels like a reunion with my oldest bestie! Kinda like this: It doesn’t have to be the very best experience with my best friend but just so happy to be with ‘em! Anyway like another person stated there is a little bit of a plot hole. Why they couldn’t just sneak out of the tower like Maddie did is beyond me? If it was stated I must’ve missed it. Maybe it was because of king Duncan? Too sick to do that? I guess there is really a lot of reasons... anyway I did like seeing some my faves getting together but (I’m shouting this hoping John Flanagan hears me!) I would LOVE to see a book where EVERYONE is together. Honestly tho there are series where I was like “for real? There’s another book??” This series isn’t like that at all. This 25 year old momma is not ready to retire this teenage fantasy!

John keating is the best! Although I’m not sure I could listen to him narrate anything other these series. It would probably be way too confusing for me!

I do have a suggestion... do something really cool with an Olympics type event. I really would love to see all the kingdoms and countries come together in some crazy adventure!

Great Finish!

I had been disappointed with the division of this story but it had a wonderful conclusion!!! I always enjoy the Ranger’s Apprentice stories both because they are well-written and John Keating is a great narrator. I hope John Flanagan writes many more!!

Incredible story

The book was amazing even better because it was delivered by a wonderful voice. I can’t finish an audiobook if it doesn’t have a good speaker and this one sure did.

As good as ever.

I loved this book, but to be honest it probably could have been condensed and finished in the last book instead of making its own book. Regardless, I came for the narration and the characters more than the story.

Good, but not as great as previous ones

Another good Ranger's Apprentice story and was quite enjoyable. I'm not giving it a five because of a few small things: it was missing a bit of fun of the previous stories (following two groups being constantly sieged is a bit draining), it wasn't stand alone or a new adventure (part 2 which continued a cliff hanger), there was no Will or Halt, and had a limited scope of locales (really, just the castle and the hill fort). However, the inclusion of the Brotherband characters was a plus and Maddy continues to be a great character.

Once again Flanagan has come through with a great adventurous tale. I have enjoyed his books since I was a boy and still do today .

This is a wonderful story!

Everyone in my family, young and old, love the tales of the amazing Rangers and the Herron Brother band. How much fun to have them together!
