About this listen

The highly anticipated sequel to the instant number one New York Times best seller Children of Eden.

Two girls, one destiny.

Yarrow is an elite: rich, regal, destined for greatness. She's the daughter of one of the most powerful women in Eden. At the exclusive Oaks boarding school, she makes life miserable for anyone foolish enough to cross her. Her life is one wild party after another...until she meets a fascinating, lilac-haired girl named Lark.

Meanwhile, there is Rowan, who has been either hiding or running all her life. As an illegal second child in a strictly regulated world, her very existence is a threat to society, punishable by death...or worse. After her father betrayed his family, and after her mother was killed by the government, Rowan discovered a whole city of people like herself. Safe in an underground sanctuary that also protected the last living tree on Earth, Rowan found friendship, and maybe more, in a fearless hero named Lachlan. But when she was captured by the government, her fate was uncertain.

When these two girls discover the thread that binds them together, the collision of memories means that their lives may change drastically - and that Eden may never be the same.

Disappointed

After about chapter 18 I was internally groaning at the turns this book takes and was ready for it to end.

A rollercoaster of emotions!

The First time I read this I was so filled with many feelings like anger, sadness, and fear but, alongside those were laughter and happiness more than there was in the first book! I feel as if I AM Rowan but I'm not. These books make me realize I am lucky to have the things I and we have today. From the food we eat to all the privileges. I've also read this book many times and it's even better than Harry Potter and that's saying alot!(I have ALOT of Harry Potter merch and items.) My questions are:

What happed to Lachlan and Lark?(as in what did they do to her)

Did Rowan die and just get reborn into the Earth or did the sphere protect her from the blast?

Is Ash alright? Did he survive the blast?

And lastly: Will this become a trilogy or even more?

(P.S I would love to see this as a movie!)

Thank you again Joey for showing me this beautiful and unique world you made swirl in my head! 💙 You!

Omg!

This book was AMAZING! After reading Children of Eden and it being my favorite book I knew I had to read this one. It leaves you on the edge of your seat and you won’t want to stop reading. I will admit it starts out slow (like the first book)but, by the end you are captivated! Another work of art by Joey Graceffa! (I also want to mention this book is great for all ages considering I’m 12)!!

A stunning story that makes you truly think.

The eden series pulls you in. It really makes you question and think about your own values. Makes you think about the very nature of humanity. It's hard not to go daydreaming about complex philosophical ideas and scenarios after hearing this story. If you haven't started the eden series then you are truly missing out on a masterpiece of a story. One that you can really involve yourself in... With thought at least.
