This one is the complete set. This book set is lengthy and fun. I am not a huge fan of space operas but I am a fan of this series. The authors have done something cool and unique with this story. I really liked it. Plus, you have Bronson Pinchot performing it. I don't know how they snagged him as a narrator but I will be forever grateful that they did. I would probably recommend other books by the authors but I definitely recommend everything Bronson Pinchot does.

This one is the complete set. Pick this one.

Bronson Pinchot does a great narration of this sweeping story. Engaging characters and lots of action with much to think about.

great narration of a good story

this a really good series

The story is excellent. The characters are different and individual. The characters are not generic or pigeon holed. Several plots overlap and combine to culminate in a excellent ending

Again, I can't give enough credit to Bronson Pinchot's narration. IHe can seemlessly lead into multiple characters' conversations without awkward pauses while he shifts. And the the number of distinctly different voices he can make, both male and female, is simply amazing!!

Great Space Opera

Pretty good series of stories here and I liked how the narration moved from first to the third person for certain characters. The weapon sound effects had me laugh out loud, as much as I love them in this book I would probably hate them in other books.
The narration is spot on with only a couple of areas where I had to listen had to which person was talking. All in all I would and will listen to this box set again.

Braka braka braka

I stayed up late at night to listen to this series and when I woke up I made it it a point to listen while working around the house. Empire Earth. This is a great space opera series that will keep you interested until the very end of each book.

Started this book a few days ago and now I'm done.

Empire Earth is placed in a future where Earth and its colonies across the solar system are governed by a mega corporation slash crime syndicate and its description as a sci-fi noir thriller is absolutely spot on. Conceptually, the series is well done and the universe which serves as the backdrop for all of the books is amazingly detailed and complex. I was originally introduced to the SynCorp Saga universe through Optional Retirement Plan, which takes place after the events of Empire Earth. I don’t want to spoil the plots of either, but I will say I was overjoyed when I discovered many of the memorable characters that had cameos in Optional Retirement Plan were also staples in Empire Earth as well. If you read the Empire Earth trilogy first, do not neglect to follow up with Optional Retirement Plan afterwards.

The characters were unique and fun, the plot was deep and complex, and each book resolved a story arc while revealing a bit more of the overall narrative that was woven throughout the trilogy. I also found the shifting POV generated a really interesting tone for the books. It took me a while to realize that the language and writing style shifted between characters depending on the POV character (for example, the Stacks Fischer POV chapters were always told from his first person perspective). Though mixing 1st and 3rd is done in other books, this one felt unique and extremely well done (Stacks was in 1st person, but he wasn't the "narrator" of the 3rd person chapters).

There isn’t really much I could say that would be a criticism of Empire Earth. I’ll admit that a good chunk of the first book was slow, but some front loading for the build up was needed for the trilogy to work. The series was built around an epic narrative that requires quite a lot of setup, has a nice sized cast of POV characters, and spans the solar system from Earth to the moons of Saturn and Jupiter. Just stick with it and you’ll realize the pacing is perfect and increases as each bit of the plot is revealed.

Bronson Pinchot does an awesome job with the narration. I’ll admit I was a bit disappointed when I realized that R.C. Bray didn’t narrate this (he does Optional Retirement Plan), but Pinchot hits it out of the park with his performance in the three Empire Earth books. I’ve got zero complaints with the narration, everything was spot on.

The Empire Earth trilogy grew better with each book. There was complexity, surprise and suspense surrounding an mix of interesting characters and personalities. The story developed clearly and succinctly with enough detail to be imaginable and enjoyable.

I preferred to listen to the audio at 1.15X  the narrator provided a good range of distinct voices.

I was given this book at my request and am voluntary leaving a review.

Keep listening💛

After 10 chapters I just can't get into this book. The reading is good but I have to work at picking up after stopping. It might be me but I just don't like this book.

Disappointed
