About this listen

For generations, the human race has feared an encounter with an alien race so advanced their technology might as well be magic. And yet, no such alien race has been encountered....

...Until now.

During the Virus War, human explorers discovered proof of alien technology that was beyond human understanding, technology so strange it was impossible even to guess at its function. Now, in the aftermath of the war, HMS Endeavour embarks on a mission to the core of the alien civilization....

...And discovers a mystery older than the human race itself.

I am a big fan of this author. This story is a good start of a mysterious super advanced alien story. There are other Dyson sphere stories and this one is an interesting addition to them. I very much like the forerunner story arc in general. Looking forward to future installments.

A good advanced Alien story.

One of Christopher best attributes in this series has been phenomenally interesting aliens and highly enjoyable scientific speculation dialogue’s between characters on their interactions with them.

This book however reminds me of Arthur C Clark’s classic Rama or Niven’s Ringworld. It’s well worth the read however. Just not his best.

Nutall’vous with Rama

This dude reuses chunks of text over and over again in these books. Not sure if he’s paid by the word or what. I like this series but he needs an editor.

I like this series but he seems to be running out of ideas
