Publisher's summary

So far, they've escaped the virus, but that doesn't mean they've survived the worst pandemic mankind has ever experienced.

No longer alone, Ethan, Cassie, and Noah find out that, even together, survival is not assured. Mother Nature has not finished testing them.

Ethan knows he’s lucky to have found good people, but they’re not his family. Awkward, and unsure of his standing, he takes risks to prove he belongs—that he’s a useful member of the group.

Cassie’s children mean everything to her and she will do whatever it takes to see that they not only survive but thrive. Her efforts to create a new normal crash into the realities of a world where nothing can be normal again.

Noah balks at being thrust into the role of leader of the group, but he shoulders the responsibility to keep everyone safe.

They soon realize that with so many challenges and dangers to face, their group must find a way to survive together or risk being utterly ripped apart.

This book was well written, well performed. Loved the characters and storyline. Hopefully there is another one coming soon.

Fantastic read!

The book was very enjoyable, the build between the characters, the palpable tensions at times, and a good grip on the reality of interpersonal connections when strangers are forced together. I very much look forward to the next addition in the series.

The performance was a little rocky to start, but began to hit it's stride about a quarter of the way through. Seems like a new narrator still trying to find his style. Ironically, we share a name, so naturally i was interested. I may check out more of the books he's done.
